Givenchy Pi Air ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 8 March 2017 10 Comments

Givenchy Pi Air

Givenchy has launched Pi Air , a new fragrance for men. Pi Air is a flanker to 1999's Pi, and follows 2015's Pi Extreme.

The scent of a voyage deep into the clouds. Dive into infinite freshness: a cool blast embraced by magnetic masculinity. Beyond the clouds. An aerial fragrance enclosed in an elegant frosted bottle.

The notes include frozen neroli, ginger, paradisone (Firmenich molecule; radiant floral), rosemary, lavandin, benzoin, musk and cedar.

Givenchy Pi Air can be found now at Macy's, 100 ml Eau de Toilette for $83.

This one looks promising. It HAS been a couple of days since Givenchy last launched a fragrance!

I’m speaking for my hubby when I say “stop messing with my Pi” ????

Ah, but remember — messing with your Pi keeps the Pi love alive! When people stop buying Pi flankers, you might have to worry about how much longer they’ll keep making Pi.

Oh perish the thought, Robin. Hubby just loves Pi, and I find a great deal of similarities between it and Organza Indecence, so I sometimes ‘borrow’ it. Pi is still well stocked in brick and mortar shops here, so hopefully things stay that way for the foreseeable future.

Pi Air is an oxymoron. Only Pi Sport would be worse.
Having said that, original Pi is one of the few ‘mens’ fragrances I find too sweet. I don’t care or believe in gender in perfumes but too sweet makes me sick.

My favorite was still Pi Néo Tropical Paradise Edition — the name, I mean. Never smelled it.

I always loved that one Robin. Pi Néo sounds so similar to Pinel, which means crazy in portuguese.
