I am not really a pencil geek but admit I fell into a pencil blog yesterday while writing this up:

ME TOO!!! (plus my obsession with pencils!) I WILL NOT will not WILL not go to pencils.com and after posting this will forget I ever knew there was a website called PENCILS.COM.

Henceforth, this is BANISHED from my brain! but seriously i kind of want to forward this to my H cause maybe he’d buy them for me as a gift? for, like, some kind of upcoming holiday… EASTER?

    Argh, lemming, yessss
Yup bit of a pencil geek here.
But I hardly use those wooden pencils (except for colouring), my go to drawing tool is a Rotring mechanical pencil.

My son is addicted to mechanical pencils — when he stops losing things all the time, I should get him one of those!

They are great, I like the somewhat heavy feel and sturdiness.
And I prefer mechanical just because I am lazy ;) it saves me from the hassle of sharpening my pencil every 10 minutes.

Yay pencil nerds unite! :) I have a few Pentels as well The 0.9 is mustard yellow, the 0.7 is blue, the black one is 0.5…. Dont know if they still use that scheme. Also very lovely to use with an equally recognisable/iconic design.

I missed some of the initial, prettiest ones in this series, although they’re all pretty great. I haven’t decided whether to actually use them or not. ;)
