Yves Saint Laurent has launched Black Opium Floral Shock, a new limited edition fragrance for women. Black Opium Floral Shock is a flanker to 2014's Black Opium, which was a flanker to 1977's Opium.
A fresh and invigorating interpretation of the iconic Black Opium coffee signature, Black Opium Floral Shock delivers a shot of sensuality like the morning’s first jolt of espresso. The iconic coffee and vanilla accord is now combined with new floral notes of gardenia and orange blossom that add the instant cool feeling of a sea breeze—it’s Black Opium on ice.
Additional notes include pear.
Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Floral Shock is available now at Sephora, in 30 and 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

Did anyone ever catch a wiff of the Black Opium Blanche Nuit? Or was that just overseas (not the US)?
Too many flankers to track them all! 🙂 I’ll sniff this one when I run across it….
I’m sorry, I honestly can’t remember if that one made it here!
Basenotes has over 1500 new scents in their database just for 2016! There’d be no way you could get to them all! Glad you’re feeling better, BTW!
Thank you so much!
