Tory Burch Love Relentlessly ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 16 November 2016 16 Comments

Tory Burch Love Relentlessly

Tory Burch will launch Love Relentlessly, a new modern chypre fragrance for women.

"'If I told you that I love you, would you hold it against me?'

My father wrote this note to my mother, which he ran in the newspaper and signed 'Love, Relentless.'" — Tory Burch

Introducing Love Relentlessly, the new fragrance from Tory Burch inspired by the love story of her parents. A bold and romantic mix: pink pepper unfolds into rose and orris, then reveals a warming blend of patchouli and ambertonic. It's undeniably feminine in a jewel-shaped glass bottle with pink accents. Charmingly youthful, the Love Relentlessly fragrance has a Neo Chypre structure.

Additional notes include fruit, sandalwood and vetiver.

Tory Burch Love Relentlessly is available now for pre-order at Bloomingdales, in 50 ($86) and 100 ($115) ml Eau de Parfum. A rollerball is $28.

(via bloomingdales)

Update: Love Relentlessly was developed by perfumers Domitille Bertier and Yves Cassar.

I’ve given up on trying to understand the grammar and syntax of this brand’s titles/taglines.

Then you might just relax and let go when Live Relentlessly and Dream Relentlessly follow (they’ve secured trademarks for both).

I do not find these names charming, however, especially for perfumes that are probably light weight. Maybe the all have a dose of test molecule that lasts forever, and that is the reference to relentless…

Ugh. Typos! My next phone will have a physical keyboard no matter how unfashionable they are…

I so miss my old phone with a slide out keyboard.

        The name reeks of desperation.

Insert Britney Spears quote and claim as your own.

The name sounds kind of stalker-ish to me, so can’t say I’m excited about it… Or the fragrance for that matter. Who knows? It may be perfectly lovely, but I’m not digging the name, either.

Me too. The thing about the newspaper kind of creeped me out. I don’t think I would want someone to do that to me.

I am all on board for this! The bottle looks gorgeous and the scent sounds great! I loved all the other Tory Burch scents to pieces! Her eponymous scent is one of my top favorites of all fragrances released in the past 5-7 years!
