Andy Tauer of Tauer Perfumes and Tauerville will be visiting Scent Bar in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 20, and will be selling the fragrance Hyacinth and a Mechanic* that day only, in person only,** as part of a new Tauerville Stories collection.
Andy Tauer will visit Scent Bar this Sunday, Nov 20th, for one day only. During his visit from 11-6pm, he'll bring with him a special perfume treat: Hyacinth and a Mechanic.
[...] Perfume is storytelling, says Andy. Perfume comes with a beginning and an end. And in between is the story that unfolds differently for everybody. It is a story that cannot be explained by notes or ingredients. It lives on skin and in the moment. Perfume must be experienced.
Hyacinth and a Mechanic Notes
Hyacinth; spicy green floral beauty. Some roses, maybe. In the air: the toolbox, the woods of workbenches, the sweet oily perfume of a garage and men at work. Leather, oily skin and flowers.
Tauerville Hyacinth and a Mechanic will be $89 for 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

They put everyone on disadvantage, except of those who can actually come in person.

On the one hand, it’s a nice way to thank people who come out to special events — I do understand and appreciate the gesture. Also appreciate that in this case, it isn’t an ultra-luxury/expensive item.
On the other hand, if you want something and can’t go to the event, it’s obviously a bummer.
Wow, road trip! I knew he was on the west coast this week and had a feeling he might come to Scent Bar. This is great news.
