What is it: 75 ml bottles of Ferragamo Tuscan Scent Leather Rose and Tuscan Soul La Corte. Both have been used lightly for testing.

I live in the US. My favorite luxury designer scent I’ve sampled this year is Hermes 24 Faubourg. White flowers, woods and vanilla push all of my buttons. Thanks for the draw!
I live in the US. The worst fragrance I smelled so far was Francesca del’Oro collection. Everything turned into a bug spray on me and it took multiple attempts to remove it. After an hour, I ended up using Clorox wipes to remove the traces of that fragrance.
I live in the US. My favorite luxury designer scent is as always, the great Mitsouko.
I live in the US…finally had a chance to try a few from the luxury line of Hermes and surprisingly really liked Vetiver Tonka. Thank you for the draw!
I live in the US, and my favorite designer scent I’ve sampled recently was Alaia Paris,
I live in the U.S. Would have to say the worst fragrance I have this year so far is Ariana Grande Sweet Like Candy.
I live in the U.S.A.
I haven’t smelled anything really awful at the department stores, but plenty of mediocrity.
Can’t remember specific ones, not worth the brain space.
Thanks for the draw, Robin.
I live in the US and I would love to win these! I’m a fan of both collections……
I would say the worse scent I tried in 2016 was Ex Nihilo Venemum Kiss. It was awful on me. I’m sure it works for some, but definitely was not my thing at. all. Best I tried was Amouage Homage. Gorgeous stuff! Thank you for the super generous draw!
I’m in the US. The worst scent so far is J’Adore! Oddly enough, I liked this when I first tried it, but a few months after obtaining a decant, it suddenly smells awful to me…don’t know what changed. Thanks for the drawing, Robin.
P.S. Today’s my birthday!
I live in the US. The worst one I smelled this year was Creed Asian Green Tea. Just did not sit right with me! Thank you for this chance!!
I live in the U.S. I have so many favorites from Hermes, but if I had to pick one, it would be Eau des Merveilles.
I have a US address! The worst thing I’ve smelled this year–and I expect to get a lot of hate for this response–is Zoologist Bat. As I think I wrote previously on NST, I almost threw up repeatedly upon sniffing it. Thanks, Robin!
I live in the USA. My favorite fragrance from a luxury designer collection that I have tried this year has been Neela Vermeire Trayee.
I live in the U.S., and my favorite luxury designer fragrance, hands down, is Hermes 24 Faubourg. Thanks for the drawing!
Wow, I’m intrigued by La Corte with the almond and jasmine.
I live in the US. The worst thing I’ve tried on this year was Olympea with its screeching white floral. The worst part: it was a blind buy.
Thanks for the chance at the giveaway!
I live in the US and my favorite designer exclusive is Mitzah. One of the worst things I’ve smelled this year was Diptyque Oud Palao.
Hey Robin- I live not too far from you in the USA! I want to give a big thumbs up to Chanel for L’Eau. It is not for me, but it is a great gateway into an iconic fragrance for someone like my beautiful 20-something niece. And, I do love, love, love 31 Rue Cambon.
I live in the US. So far my favorite luxury designer fragrance is Oud Ispahan. As always, thanks for the giveaways!
Thanks for the giveaway, Robin!
I live in the US.
My favorite luxury designer fragrance? Tough one. I’d probably say Bois des Iles/Chanel or Bottega Veneta, the original.
Living in the United States I am free to try Dior Sauvage as many times as I like with high hopes that my opinion will change. It hasn’t. Still smells awful every single time.
I live in the United/divided States. After months away from fragrance pursuits, I’m preparing to start sampling again during the winter when no longer blitzed by renovation projects. I need to smell new things.
I live in Believeland (AKA Cleveland, Ohio for you non-sports followers). Favorite luxury designer fragrance would have to be 31 Rue Cambon.
I live in the US and my favorite luxury designer fragrance is Chanel No. 5 (or maybe 19?).
I live in the US. Favorite luxury designer fragrance: Guerlain Songe d’ue Bois d’Ete. Worst thing I smelled this year: Smellbent Little Miss Panda.
My local boutique pharmacy just started carrying an extensive collection of Demeter perfumes. I sampled a few of the non-traditional scents and have to say Demeter Beetroot is definitely the worst thing I’ve smelled this year. I live in the US.
Hi, I live in the US.
The worst fragrance I’ve smelled in 2016 is Orto Parisi Seminalis. Of all the hundreds of fragrances I’ve sampled over the years, it’s the only one that has literally made me nauseous!
I live in the US. I don’t know whether Mary Greenwell Plum counts as a luxury designer fragrance, but it is my favorite. This year. Last year. Hmmm. Maybe even the year prior.
Hi! I’m in the USA, and honestly the WORST I’ve smelled this year has been the new Kenzo World (seriouly great bottle albeit a rip-off of the Dali bottles, but the jus? Gag-worthy), but worse than that was the new Celebuscent by Charlotte Tillbury (no words except “I think I just threw up in my mouth a little!” Gah!)
I’m in the US and my favorite luxury fragrance (at least at the moment) is Hermes Hiris. The worst thing I’ve smelled in a while is Penhaligon’s Blasted Bloom.
I live in the US – yay for fall in New England! The worst perfume I smelled in 2016 was Marc Jacobs Decadence.
Hi, I’m in the US. Favorite luxury scent right now would be Thierry Mugler Over the Musk!
I live in the US. I will clearly be beaten for saying this, but the worst fragrance I’ve smelled in 2016 is the Chanel L’eau. Maybe my sample is bad? It doesn’t feel like a cohesive, completed perfume to me. On my skin, the dry down falls apart.
I’ve heard positive things about this series. Here’s hoping that I win!
Hi! I am in the US. My favorite luxury fragrance would be Chanel Coromandel. I think the thing I wanted to like but was truly repulsed by this year was SJP Slash.
I live in US. Hermes is my fragrance house and a complete Ellena fan and I would say that Eau de Narcisse Bleu is one of the pleasant surprises that hides beneath the surface of the brand.
I live in the US. I’d say Tom Ford counts as luxury, and my favorite is Orchid Soleil.
Hello — these both sound very intriguing! I have family in the U.S. (NY or WI) who will happily forward me a prize (I am based in Western Canada)…
Not a typical tale of fragrance, but one funny olfactory anecdote… I teach art in a boarding school, including a senior studio program where the students can get kind of experimental with materials… Last year one student routinely burned incense (I think she incorporated the dust into collages) while wearing a vanilla & patchouli-laced perfume… More recently, a student had singed some sections of acrylic textile in a room where there was a still-life set up with rather ripe lilies… Oddly enough, both of these phenomena triggered olfactory hallucinations of Habit Rouge, perhaps one of my favourite scents I’ve never actually owned a FB of. I guess you can be literally haunted by a fragrance?
I live in the USA and my favorite luxury fragrance is Amouage Epic Man!
Hi! I am in NY NY and I absolutely hated Dylan Blue! Yuck!!! Thanks for this lovely opportunity!
Oooh almond milk
I am in the US, and my favorite most recently discovered luxury fragrance is Chanel Box of Eels (i.e. Bois des Iles). Thank you for the giveaway!
These sound lovely! I am in the U.S., and this year I discovered the fabulous Hermes Galop.
Thank you for the giveaway!
The fragrance is not new, but this summer I’ve discovered that I need to have Chanel Sycomore. I can provide an US address.
Thanks for the draw!
Thanks, Robin. I live in the US and the worst fragrance I’ve smelled so far this year was one of the little Pinrose samples I got. It wasn’t horrible in an offensive and off-putting way like other perfumes I’ve tried, but was so bland, obviously rolled out for mass basic appeal rather than any sort of character… It was just depressing and I wouldn’t let my daughter walk out of the house with it on.
Im in the US. The worst I have smelled so far is Versace Dylan Blue. Just a cheap generic mall scent. Just a synthetic mess lol
Hi, I live in the US. My favorite luxury designer scent is a toss-up between Cuir Beluga, Bois des Iles and Angelique Noire. Hard time thinking of what I detested. I usually try to only remember the ones I like. There isn’t enough room in the brain for something bad. Thanks for the drawing!
I live in the U.S. and you have permission to use my email address. I like many designer fragrances but am right now infatuated with two from Zegna: Haitian Vetiver and Incense Gold. I think Dior Savage stinks.
I live in the US. Worst fragrance I’ve smelled this year is Katy Perry’s Purr. It’s peach flavored cough syrup. These should be a warning for diabetics on the bottle.
I live in the US in NYC, and I am happily wearing my Hermes Bel Ami. I am still on the fence, but the dirtiest one of the Juniper Ride, something Canyon I think, I went out and bought it precisely for the skank factor. I wore it Memorial Day weekend at the beach and have not worn it again since. It truly wears like full on offensive BO and I am not sure when or where I can wear it again, but I do love knowing that it is there in my fragrance cabinet whenever I want to smell like civet/bo on crack.
I am in the US and enjoyed reading the bests and worsts listed in the comments so far. My worst fragrance this year was Glade Hawaiian Breeze room spray, a mix of chemical flowers and artificial pineapple in a can. Sorry to anyone who loves it. You can have mine.
I Live in the US, E-Mail is up to date. So far, haven’t smelled anything Dreckful this year. Favorite from a Luxury brand… Champaca Absolute or White Patchouli from Tom Ford. And I have to say that I Really REALLY Like Versace Dylan Blue and that it really bears NO resemblance to Sauvage. Not to my nose at least.
I live in the US. My favorite luxury designer fragrance is Terre d’Hermes — it’s the perfect balance of mass market appeal and unique smell. Plus it lasts all day, and most importantly smells good.
Hello Robin! I live in the US and some day my life will calm down enough that I will feel like I have time to try new perfumes again. I have faith!
I live in the US of A.
I have had mixed feelings on Galop. At first it was all dislike…then somehow I began to like. Still working through my 4 mls…I reserve the right to dislike again if need be.
I live in the US and provide US mailing address.
As for more unique find lately, you won’t believe this. Got a cheap impulse purchase of Trump Success and think somebody pulled an inside trick on him.
It’s essentially a slightly pacified SECRETIONS MAGNIFIQUES from ELDO. No kidding! The metal, the blood, the milky. It’s all there. And there is strong doubt that anybody on the trump decision team had run across it before they started the process of “Make us a new cologne”.
So what do you think happened? Did somebody present it to them without telling the origin and just say ‘we think you might like this formula’? They smell, nod, and go with it??
Very interesting how it could have ended up that way and who knew what when and why.
I live in the US.
My favorite high-end fragrances are on opposite ends of the spectrum: La Pausa and Cuir de Russie from the Chanel Exclusives and Iris Ukiyo-e and Osmanthe Yunnan from the Hermessences.
I am in the USA.
I’ve been loving Mojave Ghost by Byredo!
I live in the U.S. My favorite luxury designer fragrance is Hermes Eau des Merveilles. The worst scent I’ve smelled in 2016 is Katy Perry Mad Love. Walking through Walgreens one day I spritzed it on the top of my hand and, with apologies to anyone who may like this fragrance, can only say it was awful. Another unpleasant fragrance memory of 2016 is the seemingly popular Angel Muse which I, unfortuately, spritzed on my hand when passing through Ulta on a hot, summer day full of errands. Each time I left a store and walked out into the heat to my car it hit me in waves and even after I washed it off in another store I couldn’t get rid of it. I like the original Angel, especially in body cream form in mid-winter, and will give Muse another try – but only on a chilly fall or cold winter day!
I live in the United States. I would say currently my favorite upscale designer perfume is TM Over the Musk, with Cuir Impertinent a close second.
I live in the US. I just recently got a Valentino Valentina perfume and I’m in love with the scent. It smells so classy.
I do live in the US. One of the magazines I subscribe to had a spray sample of something called Alien… I couldn’t wash it off fast enough.
On the flip side, I just smelled Hermes Galop and immediately fell in love with it.
Hi, Robin. Since I can never come up with only one favorite of anything, I’ll say instead that I was pleasantly surprised recently by TF’s Ombre Leather 16 and a couple of the Verts (Encens, Bois). I live in the U.S.; thanks for the draw; Happy Halloween!
Thank you for the give away. I live in the US and the worst I’ve smelled this year is Benefit’s Maybe Baby. So sweet!
I am in the US. Are you planning to write reviews of the Ferragamo “Tuscan” perfumes? I for one would be very interested in them. I don’t know why they all sound so appealing to me; I haven’t liked anything from their regular line.
As for my favorite designer luxury perfume, Hermes Vetiver Tonka came immediately to mind, but I may like Vanille Galante just as well. (And many thanks to schaf for talking me into getting a sample. It was much more interesting on skin than it was on a card.)
Hi Robin,
Thanks again for another wonderful opportunity. I live in the U.S.
My favorite luxury designers would be Jo Malone and Tom Ford. I appreciate the uniqueness of both of these brands and how they make me feel when I wear them!
I’m from the US!
& my favorite luxury perfume is Tender Romance by Ralph Lauren.
