Posted by Robin on 1 September 2016 5 Comments

Parfumerie Générale No. 27 Limanakia

French niche line Parfumerie Générale has launched No. 27 Limanakia, a new fragrance.

On the shores of the Aegean Sea, you will have to tread carefully on the steep paths that lead to this series of searing rocky beaches and mineral alcoves edged with cistus, the perfect hiding place for trysts… Limanakia.

Parfumerie Générale No. 27 Limanakia is available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum, €65 -  €140.

I’m always interested in what PG has to offer, and minerals, a rocky beach, and cistus are three of my favorite things. This one goes on the To Sample list.

I love cistus and think PGs are always worth a sniff. Just hope there’s no calone lurking among those rocks. 😉

living in Greece makes it propably impossible to reach this interesting parfume, but i could say some about the name and just wonder about the connection with thw juice.Limanakia is a greek word, means ” very small ports or bays betwwen the rocks of a coast”, one can find everywhere along the greek seaside. There is a particular “bad”-famous rocky beach near Athens called “LIMANAKIA” ,where lovers used to find some privacy after sunset, and maybe they still do. There is this film with the same title “LIMANAKIA” by Antonio Da Silva which is ehmmm, interesting
https://d1wst0behutosd.cloudfront.net/videos/1315519.mp4?,but i recommend every one to open with caution,So I dont know the connection, but i’m reaaly made think!
