Our usual open thread poll, starting rather late due to WiFi issues: talk about anything you like — the perfume you’re wearing today, the perfume you think you might need to buy for Fall 2016, whatever.
Or, ask a question about fragrance, then see if anyone else has asked a question that you can answer…

Hey Robin–hope you are enjoying your vacation. Mine is planned, but not until November! So I won’t start the planning just yet.
SOTD–leftover MFK Aqua Universalis Forte from yesterday’s community project. This bottle was gifted to me, I might not have bought it myself, but I find that I am wearing it lots this summer. Easy, but lasting and fresh. After a shower, I think a pick an Andy Tauer rose for dinner with friends….which one?
Fantastic so far, thank you! Perfect weather, and will have perfect wifi for the rest of the week.
And I will be wearing lots of Tauer Rose Delight this week. If you own Phi, that gets my vote unless it’s too hot.
An extra lazy weekend is a great thing, especially in August.
SotD = Le Jardin de Monsieur Li, and now I’m craving kumquats. Instead I’ll eat a peach, and be happy. 😀
Yes it is!
You smell great, and I do love kumquats but I might love peaches even more.
Love the way you smell. Never had a kumquat in my life. And I prefer nectarine over peach 😉
Thank you, lucasai! A kumquat has a special taste, and M. Ellena has captured its scent quite perfectly. If you smell M. Li, you have, in a sense, tried a kumquat. 😀
I prefer nectarines, too!
Yummmy…love kumquats 🙂 !!!
Today, I’m in Fils de Dieu, I think because some other people mentioned wearing it this week and I went “hmmm . . . ” every time I saw that. Anyway, it’s great, as usual.
Planning on making a sherry pound cake later today.
Sherry pound cake got my attention. I’ve not come across this type before, but I do love a good pound cake.
We were gifted a bottle of poorly-looked-after sherry when some friends moved, and this recipe used up a cup of it. It’s the Alice Medrich sherry and olive oil pound cake. I think I’m going to try and find the Silver Palate chocolate sauce recipe – they’d go well together, I bet. But, I’m letting the cake rest a bit.
Ah! Love her recipes. Chocolate sauce sounds perfect with it.
Scent twins! I picked this one as well for today
Hi, twin! It’s such a fun scent.
I hope you have a great time Robin.
I tried Lonesome Rider today for the first time, and Lonestar Memories again. Both great.
SOTD is Ubar, a whole lot of it. I’m not working today so I feel free to inundate the world with my scent.
Thank you, and you smell great!
Which of the Lonestars did you like best?
You know, I don’t know. The opening of Rider is less fierce, but it disappears much more quickly on skin than Memories.
Have you sorted out the tea issue?
I did not manage to find any good bags, no…there are very good stores here but did not work out today. And now we’re in our rental house so it doesn’t matter — have tons of good tea with me. Will still look for those bags for next time I travel.
This world so needs a little Ubar in its troubled atmosphere!
Well I pretty much sprayed my décolletage until my socks were wet so…..
Hey everyone. 🙂 I made it through one month of Angela’s all-summer-long challenge– wearing Via Lanvin every day until I perished of boredom and had to be resuscitated with SL Fille En Aiguilles. (Which, if you’ve never tried it in summertime before, is amazing in the August heat.) I still love Via but must cop to the fact that I am made for polyfidelity and must never defy nature again.
Glad you’re having a good vacation, Robin! 🙂
Polyfidelity! Wonderful word!
???? I have a number of long-term loves who are with me through good times and lean times. All other perfumes are but flirtations… but flirting is so much fun…
I hear you. I’m a terrible flirt on occasion, too!
Good for you! I spent the entire month of July in Berdoues Assam of India and continued into this month as well….there is something satisfying in really getting to know a fragrance by living in it day in and day out……
Very true. I’d like to do longer stretches with some scents I own. Maybe a project for me for the fall.
What fragrance would you choose? Curious!
I think I’d like to start with Chergui. I really love that one and I could easily do a whole week wearing it so seems like a good option.
True. I definitely feel as though I know Via inside & out, in all conditions & weathers. But I had to stop before I started to get tired of it…
I just can’t imaging wearing the same fragrance for weeks. It’s odd, because I used to do this. Much more fun changing them.
what has helped me is I wear Assam of India every day as my SOTD but then I also wear something I want to sample on my right wrist only…..
That’s a very sound method.
SOOOO much more fun! No matter how many you have to choose from, it’s nice to have a choice.
Hi community!
Robin, hope you are having a great time.
I’m off to Brazil next Wednesday, and must say, as a Brazilian, very proud of the opening ceremony, what a great country despite the politicians and social issues…
Wearing Chamade, once you love it, it’s forever.
Thank you!
I have not seen it yet but will watch when I get home, and so glad it made you proud, that’s lovely.
Yes, it was beautiful. So proud!!
SOTD TF Tabacco Vanille
Mmmmmmmmmmmmm
I had 2 gift cards for Sephora and an ebate refund so it was like free!!
Thanks for reminding me that I am getting an ebate refund in the mail so I wasn’t naughty today and basically purchased my bottle of Mexican Cocoa for free :)!!!
Ebates rocks! Donatella would approve.
This Pradaholic is finally trying L’Homme Prada today and is very pleased about how it smells.
Some DNA of beloved Prada Amber Pour Homme is detected but still it doesn’t smell like copy or rework but like a different creation.
Very wearable. Bottle will be a must as it also looks stunning.
Those bottles caught my eye too. Glad you’re liking the L’Homme.
Will need to try both soon!
APH is a beloved of mine, too…
Morning, NST. I’m all sleepy and snuggled in: it’s the coldest weekend of the winter so far. Dakkie and a mouse (not sure which) are on my feet; Isabella has top position under the duvet; the dear one is, ummm, breathing, very softly and regularly. He sounds like an old-fashioned coffee percolator. I wish we could stay like this all day!
I’m wearing Maharanih from a sample sent me by lovely Gaynor, and by next week a small bottle will be mine, all mine, thanks to an obliging team member attending a conference in L.A. and her willingness to go to Scent Bar for me. Yay! Maharanih isn’t exactly an early morning scent — I wonder what one of those would be?–but who cares? I love its gentle sultriness. The dear one has just opened one eye and said he loves it too…
Wore the last of my full bottle of Spanish Amber and was very naughty by purchasing the discontinued Mexican Cocoa for fifteen dollars at my local health food store ( I vowed no new purchases until I got down to ten bottles)….will now drench myself in Assam of India…
Thanks to the generosity of one NSTer (Holly 🙂 !!!) I am sending my niece off to college with some wonderful samples for her to share with her college friends…my goal is to create a new generation of perfumistas and get her and her friends off of Bath and Body Works (not that there is anything wrong with Bath and Body Works..they make some great stuff that is highly affordable when you are on a tight budget as every college student is but I just want them to be able to expand their horizons and smell some of the “hippie dippie” perfume , which is what my niece calls some of the stuff in my collection!!!!)
I know what you mean about educating a new generation of perfumistas. In my family, I’m working two generations down, on my great niece, who has a nose and Opinions. She once announced at Smith and Caughey’s perfume counter that something or other smelt “derivative”. She was thirteen at the time. We had a quiet word afterwards about best manners, but actually, I was very pleased she was discerning and engaged. Now she plays happily in my collection when she gets the chance and I take little samples of this’n’that to family parties for her. Thank goodness there’s another girly girl in the family!
“derivative”….that is hilarious :)!!!!
Great story!
Happy Saturday everyone and happy holiday to you, Robin!
The Monsillage sampler came yesterday and have worn Eau de Celeri twice already. I absolutely love it, especially for this time of year. It reminds me a bit of a mash up between two of my absolute favorites: Eau des Merveilles (not the orange but the saltiness) and the green of Chanel 19.
Also sprayed it on my darling last night and it smelled great on him too. At this rate 5 ml will not go very far!
Thank you! And sounds like I need to try the Celeri.
I’m a Celeri fan, too. I actually tested it side by side with No. 19 because it brought that to mind so strongly. The weird thing was that I could only smell the last century notes in No. 19 when I did that. Not sure if there is really any similarity or if it’s more like a metaphor.
Or if they are so similar, that the similar notes blend together in the air and I only smell the dissimilar notes when I put my nose close to my wrist. Weird!!!
That is so interesting! It is nice to hear that you got a similar impression. They are not that much alike really but cousins if not sisters 🙂
I woke up to the remains of yesterday’s Manoumalia/Patchouli 24 combo. (Yesterday was my birthday and an odd day, and I didn’t put them on at the same time, one was the morning and one the evening.)
Post coffee today it’s Band A Part from Jolie Laide, which I got in a swap and was clearly waiting for a warm day to be its best self.
Happy belated birthday!
Happy birthday and what a great choice of birthday scents!
Happy birthday!
Well happy day-late birthday to you!
Happy day-after-Birthday!!
Happy belated birthday!
Happy belated Birthday! I hope you had a good one.
Happy belated Birthday!
Happy birthday!
Happy birthday!
Happy birthday! I hope you have a great year full of health, happiness and amazing scents.
Thanks everyone. This summer has been a series of medium to difficult things and my friends (both virtual and physical) are a reminder that I’m actually pretty lucky to be heard and appreciated.
Migraining today so scent is Oud Satin Mood of yesterday lingering (post shower) I can bear it fortunately. A good rest of the weekend to all.
Oh! Migraine is awful. Scent sensitivity is one of the worst things about it. I hope you are feeling better soon.
I hope you feel better soon!
Migraine and perfume don’t work, I hope you feel better soon.
Hope you feel better soon.
Oh dear, migraines are a trial– I hope you escape its grasp soon.
Oh, oh, oh…migraine just not be allowed! When I build my better world, I’m going to organise an eye at the end of the middle finger, for easy viewing of one’s back, under things, round corners, etc; I’ll make it a fifty-fifty chance who gets pregnant, men or women, but most particularly, NO MIGRAINE.
Please put me on the list of Beta Testers for Waterdragonopolis. Soon.
While you’re at in, could you make human skin impervious to cat claws? We have a fun new game Chez Minion, involving a sneak attack on the head of any human walking past the cat tower. I’m afraid I will need to modify my username to “Scarface”.
Yes, I think that would be possible. Or would you prefer to have your own claws so that you can fight back?
Hope you’re feeling better.
My husband is working on a series of still lifes of fruit in bowls – just gorgeous, even though I am a bit bias – and that peach reminds me of some of the peaches he’s painted.
I’ve had to either hid my fruit purchases or eat ’em quickly as of late.
I’m wearing L`Eau à la Folie, a perfect scent for the heat wave we’re having today.
it is.
I have been waiting for the perfect day to try Zoologist Bat, and today’s the day. My husband wrinkled his brow and said, “Why would you want to smell like a bat cave?”, but we both like it very much.
What does Zoologist Bat smell like?
Fruity and earthy for sure, and there is a metallic zing, and musk …after that there are other things I’m not sure of… Fragrantica has things like “fur” listed but I’m not skilled enough to recognize and name them.
Dry down was almost a sweet floral, and it lasted for hours.
SOTD is Shalimar (thanks, Ulta tester bottle!). I’m surprised that it’s not at all overpowering in today’s weather, which is both hot and humid. Man, am I warm! …Maybe I shouldn’t have compounded being out in the heat with eating buffalo wings for lunch, eh?
The perfume I need to buy for Fall? That’s easy: La Fille de Berlin! If I actually manage to or not is a separate matter…
Have a good weekend, everybody!
Spicy food makes you sweat out the heat…
I love Fille de Berlin and it is great for the fall.
I’m just coming back from a 2-month-long self-imposed fragrance ban (thanks, eczema!), so I’m slowing dipping my toe back into the perfume pool. Sampling Bydredo Super Cedar today.
Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend so far!
Eczema is the worst. I got it in tiny patches when I am stressed, but fortunately not badly enough to require a perfume ban. My sympathies and glad it’s cleared up.
Welcome back! Sorry you had to refrain for so long, and for such an unhappy reason.
Hope it stays away for you! So hard to get rid of.
Good morning everyone, I’m at the airport waiting to catch my flight on a visit to my mother for a few days. It’s freezing both outside and in the terminal. There has been a lot of renovating since I was last here, looks very nice, but they must have forgotten to install the heating – brrr!
I’m wearing a spot of Rose de Nuit, I wanted something substantial for a cold day. If the weather is clear, I should have an amazing view of snow on the hills all down the South Island. Just to be clear for those in the Northern Hemisphere, heading south here means going further into the cold 🙂
You smell lovely.
You smell fab–lucky mum when you hug her–and I envy you the glory of the view, but not the cold.
We put on a nice sunny day for you! Hope you have a hot water bottle for tonight, though.
Wearing Iris Nazarena today, which I am enjoying.
I had a question about sandalwood perfumes. I love the sandalwood in some of Neela Vermeire’s perfumes and am wondering if there is a sandalwood centered perfume that is as good. Suggestions?
I hate to say because all my favorites, I purchased before Indian Sandalwood essentially disappeared. So waiting to hear what others have to say on the subject!
I was very pleasantly surprised by the new sandalwood perfume by Perris Monte Carlo, Santal du Pacifique. I find it less dusty than the Neela Vermeire sandalwood note (which I love too). No vanilla listed, but to me the drydown is almost that sort of creamy.
(Went in to test, came out with a bottle.)
Thanks! I’ll check it out.
I have good luck with smaller perfumers when it comes to real Mysore sandalwood. On Etsy I bought Santal Exotique from The Exotic Island Perfumer and aged Mysore Sandalwood from La Via del Profumo. For a commercial fragrance, Crabtree & Evelyn Sandalwood (in the green box) is really nice. It’s discontinued, but still available on ebay and some discounters.
Thank you!
I was wondering if there are some older versions of things I should seek out.
Old Samsara, Crabtree & Evelyn Extract of Mysore Sandalwood, and Amouage Sandal are the ones I covet. So far I have only bought Samsara.
Good recs above, and will add Chanel Bois des Iles, esp. if you can find a few drops of vintage Extrait. Also, older versions of the Serge Lutens sandalwoods — Santal Blanc and Santal Mysore.
Shower with some of my Body Shop Satsuma products. Wonderful in this heat. With Seville a L’Aube on top.
We literally walked a total of 13 blocks up and back to a matinee movie earlier today. The walk back was like slogging through hot fog. Have to head downtown in the subway this evening. Trying to think what scent will gird me for that platform steaminess….
What happen out there? Hit me like a ton of bricks when I stepped out earlier.
What movie did you see? Any good?
Late response. Jason Bourne. It was good. Mostly chase scenes with a plot thrown in… As usual…
Much nicer at 11 pm than earlier. Almost pleasant (much cooler downtown though…)
Love Bourne, and on my list to see this week as I’m doing a stay-cation 😉
Wearing Andy Tauer’s Rose Delight oil today. It is indeed a delight and on me it has surprising longevity and sillage. Mr. A. says it smells “like a rose flavored snickerdoodle” which is an improvement on how he usually answers my “what does this smell like?” question (his usual answer: “perfume”).
My husband is very laconic too. 90%of the time it’s “good”, the other 10% it’s “weird”.
I get “good,” “fine,” and “smelly hippie.”
But those are pretty good odds!
Thrilled with the opening of the Rio Olympics. Amazing representation of our colorful and diverse culture. We can throw a party, gotta give us Brazilians that!
Wearing l’Heure Exquise, which is absolute perfection. Gold.
AND our student who is competing (which was already a huge deal) just won a silver medal. OMG, so proud!!!!
Yay!
Congratulations!
I watched most of the opening ceremonies last night, and enjoyed them quite a bit. I was wondering if you were watching, Solanace.
Congrats on your student winning a silver medal!
Congratulations to your student. That’s quite an achievement!
Good for you! It must be nice to have bit of good news.
Wow, that’s fantastic!
Yes, very impressive! The colors were gorgeous!
Nice to see another Brazilian here! I also felt very proud watching the opening of the Olympics. Congratulations on your student!
Hi everyone! I feel like I’m early today. I caved today and purchased Nirvana Bourbon. It is going to be very nice for fall. At first it is pretty smoky, but settles into a creamy, non sweet vanilla. A little different for me, since I usually prefer sweet. I plan on layering with a vanilla lotion. Have a great vacation, Robin!
Notes on Nirvana Bourbon do sound nice for fall. I’m eager to try these. Non-sweet vanilla is my preference so maybe… a winner.
Thank you! And I really need to go try the new Nirvanas.
Hi all! Had to be at work super early and ended up grabbing Orange Star. After lunch, I crashed and burned for 3 hours after lunch. Now that Orange Star has faded into nothing, I am thinking of wearing vintage LHB in perfume form. I managed to talk a seller down from $150 to $115 for a 1 ounce bottle. Or maybe I should wear vintage Bal while reasoning with my Amazon card for a bottle of Beloved.
Ah, good luck with the Amazon card!
What I want to buy for fall/winter is something spicy sort of like Opium, but not Opium. Suggestions, please?
I like DSH Oeillets Rouges for a spicy perfume that smells to me like a cousin of Opium.
Old school cinnabar. New school Bella Freud 1970… But this is more rose centred. Marni spice. CdG Floriental…not like Opium but more floral..oriental. I’m thinking spice and sillage with these suggestions.
Thanks for these suggestions, I will order them as samples right away if I can. I tried Frederic Malle Epice Noire today, but it was more powdery than spicy to my nose.
TF Shanghai Lily this afternoon.
You smell fabulous!
Ylang 49 for me today..
Spent the morning at a breastfeeding event in Times Sq and then had some friends over for lunch.
What was the breastfeeding event in Times Square?, great that breast feeding is being promoted, I’m curious as I’ve never been to a BF event (I’ve breastfed all my babies for varying lengths of time).
Back from another amazing perfume event at Arielle Shoshana! Carlos Huber is just as good looking in real life as in photos, and also very nice, charming, intelligent and deeply artistic.
Boutonniere No. 7 is a great illustration of how unique this line is. The fascinating thing is that Boutonniere is inspired by a night in May 1899, at the Foyer of the Opéra-Comique in Paris: “the crisp green scent of the men’s gardenia boutonnieres, enlivened with the bergamot and lavender colognes they wear.” It’s a floral that would be great on a man or a woman.
I also wanted to share this delightful article I came across on the rivalry between Charles Revson, founder of Revlon, and Estee Lauder:
http://www.nytimes.com/2002/02/24/magazine/when-charlie-met-estee.html?pagewanted=all
Were any of you Charlie fans?
Fascinating article, thanks! Love the story of Estee getting kicked out the Arden salon with her hair still damp.
There is so much in that one sentence. 🙂
Babe, Meadowsong and Farrah Fawcett shampoo were my pre-teen/ early teen perfumes. I thought Margaux Hemingway was much morebeautiful than the Charlie model.
I had Meadowsong for a while, but I think I was older than a teenager. Wasn’t very sophisticated or sensible, obviously, because I vaguely remember moving to it after Jolie Madame, Fidgi and Vivre. I wonder why I did that? I recall that the packaging was enchanting, so maybe I was duly enchanted.
The tide turns. I remember the point in the 1990s when I had a sudden craving for light, unisex perfumes and was practically begging a Neiman Marcus SA for something very different from what he’d been showing me. The best he could come up with was CSP Motu,* which I bought, though it wasn’t exactly what I envisioned. Hah, the time and $$$ I’ve spent in the last few years tracking down some of my 80s favs on ebay!
*I am positive that Motu came before Aqua Motu.
OK I should really dig out my untested sample of this!
Sounds like a nice event!
Love Boutonniere No. 7. That description seems accurate and evokes so much….
FYI, I wasn’t consciously aware of the lavender, but something makes this not a stereotypical floral even as it’s simply incredibly pretty.
What a fun article! So interesting to hear about the relationships between the founders of such iconic brands.
Wearing Lonesome Rider today. It was my last day in western Canada and the huge vistas and feeling of sadness that I have compliment this scent perfectly. I love this perfume so freaking much – it just feels like me in a bottle.
I tried it for the first time yesterday, and must admit I’m quite smitten. I can see how it would work with large vistas.
Well, that is a rare and precious thing to find in any bottle, so enjoy to the max. :^)
Have been in Balenciaga Paris all day, through morning yoga, midday crossword competition with the hubby, and afternoon birthday shopping for a nephew. I mean gifts for the nephew – I wasn’t shopping FOR a nephew.
Sounds like a lovely day! And if you could buy nephews, I might pick up another 🙂
Greetings all from Malaga on a sunny Sunday morning. Yesterday I started in Angela Ciampagna “Aer”, a juniper-centred perfume meant to evoke the early morning mist. It gets some love from the cognoscenti but I just found it altogether too slight and ethereal. Changed after an evening shower into Parfums de Marly “Hamdani”. This is a big strong leather scent, I would think very masculine, and worth checking out if you’re a leather fan. I liked its richness but didn’t love it (usually I dislike leather so that is a compliment to Hamdani!) :^)
Today I can either upset my partner by accompanying an old friend on a visit to Spanish speaking relatives to interpret, or upset my friend by not doing so. (We’re sharing the apartment with this friend and his kids, and they have been less independent than we expected so partner and I have had little time alone together. His wife/ their mother died earlier in the year so I am inclined to be very understanding of whatever my friend wants to do).
Also: starting the day in Maria Candida Gentile “Leucò”, which is a seaside-ish scent with white flowers and salt water. Very light and most reviews mention poor lasting power; I’m wearing it as a morning scent as will be in a pool later on, so no point in choosing a longer-lived perfume.
I’ve only been to Malaga once and I was exhausted the whole time, so I didn’t really get to appreciate it – but it was beautiful. I’m sorry to read that you’re in a bind today about whose feelings to consider. Your instincts seem right to me, if it matters.
Enjoyed reading your thoughts about the perfume hopefuls, too!
Well, between you and me, the relatives have a swimming pool, which may have influenced the decision. :^)
Ah, bribery. 😉
That’s a dilemma – please let us know how you navigate that, Koenigsberg!
Well, I went with my friend and his kids to a great gathering of three generations of relations who were delighted to see their Irish cousins. We had home cooked paella and pisto and gazpacho, loads of fresh fruit, and ice cream. Plenty of messing about in the pool too.
And now I’m going out to eat with my partner to get some “us time”. Wearing Carner Barcelona “Tardes”.
Glad to hear that u had a good time while helping you’re friend out, I’m sure he really values you’re support more than ever at this difficult time.
Hope u and you’re husband get to spend a relaxing and enjoyable evening together.
Meant to say, with some good food & good perfume too!
We enjoyed a light meal outdoors in a Lebanese restaurant and strolled back through the old town. It’s 23:30 and all the restaurants and tapas joints are still busy, with the bars just starting up. The amazing thing is, it’s the same all year round, always full of life and never rowdy. :^)
Sounds like a win-win-win, Koenigsberg!
Pretty close, nozknoz! :^)
I’ve dabbed on a little bit of SSS Nostalgie today. It’s the second attempt with this one; the first time it was . . . fine, but something about it bothered me. Eventually, I figured out what it was (it’s not for sharing in polite company). Maybe this time will be different, but in case it isn’t, well, one has options.
Golly, given the stuff that people will mention here, how bad does it gave to be to be UNmentionable?! More to the point, how did it work out on re-test?
Well, not unmentionable in principle – but I can’t think of a polite way to put it. And Nostalgie turned out the same, more’s the pity! Though there’s a powdery dry down (it outwitted my shower) that I didn’t notice last time, and might please fans of powdery dry downs?
I will give it another go in the fall, should autumn ever arrive in Oklahoma.
Hello, weekenders and week beginners. I’m a bit earlier this morning because I keep waking. I can’t seem to get my body temperature right: it’s 4 degrees, and you’d think I’d be glad of all the snuggle I can find, but I keep getting too hot to sleep. I think I’m slightly anxious about going back to work today after my embarrassing collapse-thingy last week. Ah well–I shall just have to stick my nose in the air (or to my wrist: that would be more delightful) and tough it out. It’s not as though the sky will fall on my head, especially not if I wear Maharanih again. I can just catch the frayed remnants of last night’s application in the crook of my elbow, and I love it. Yep, me and Maharanih, we’re off to conquer the world. How super…
I find sleep temperature difficult, too. I love sleeping in a cool room, but I think when I get into a cold bed, I cover up too heavily, in an attempt to warm up, and then a few hours later I’m too hot. Keeping the top duvet above foot level while curling up initially (to get feet in warmer area) seems to help.
I’ve meant to try Maharanih for ages, sounds beautiful.
Hope tomorrow/today is straight forward for u, with no more migraines/fainting episodes.
This weekend I’ve been wearing Carnal flower, and Chasse aux Pappilion. Grandparents have had the kids this weekend, and my husband and I went into London to see the Georgia O’ Keefe exhibition at Tate Modern, which was wonderful, I especially loved the paintings inspired by her synethesia, and her New York City scapes, which I hadn’t seen before, knowing mostly only her flower paintings, and stunning New Mexico landscapes.
Wandered through Borough market for lunch and along the river past the Golden Hind and The Globe in the warm sunshine.
such a relaxing and fun day.
Georgia O’Keefe is truly a painter whose canvases are even more amazing in person than in reproduction. Sounds like a perfect day!
Yes, They really are, so inspiring.
The Borough Market is amazing! :^)
Amazing is having grandparents!!!
Carnal Flower is my favorite, ever.
Hooray for Grandparents!!
SOTD was a generously spritzed fame by lady gaga, trying to finish my mistake of a 3.4 bottle to finally get my hands on my next purchase: Viva la juicy gold couture. Sniffed it yesterday and cant get it out of my mind.
