Posted by Robin on 1 July 2016 12 Comments

Lanvin Modern Princess

Lanvin has launched Modern Princess, a new fragrance for the 'rebel adventurer' woman.

Modern Princess was developed by perfumer Christophe Raynaud. Notes include apple, currants, jasmine, freesia, musk and vanilla orchid.

Lanvin Modern Princess is available now at Nocibe or Sephora in France, in 30, 60 and 90 ml Eau de Parfum.

Love the bottle, but what’s with the name? Sounds a bit tacky for Lanvin 🙁

Is that as opposed to Vera Wang’s old-fashioned princess? 😉

Old-fashioned princesses don’t head off on adventures wearing only a leotard.

Love the ad, not hopeful for the rest. That name is exceptionally bad. Between this and the new Chanel no 5, we might have hit the end of good names.

It’s really an awful name. Maybe it sounds better if you speak French, in English it just sounds stupid.

What’s the matter with the new No. 5 name!?!? No. 5 l’eau!?!! I think it’s a perfectly fine name!

What’s in a name? Chanel No. 5 by any other name would smell as sweet!

Love that bottle, reminds me of an elongated version of “Living Lalique” and it’s compatriot bottle “Reve d’Infini” sounds like it might smell pretty good! I have no problems with the name!

It appears Modern Princesses don’t need pants….maybe not even underwear.

    Just sweaters.

    Good to know.

I see some think it is a leotard now. Still…no pants needed for Modern Princesses. I think my logic stands on that front.

Does anyone actually talk about the fragrance or just the ad and the bottle ?
