Reading the copy for actual perfumes undermines my confidence. Quoted by Turin just today about a Different Company fragrance: “a dangerous ritual engulfed in narcotic waves. ” Hard to beat that.
I know just what you mean — it’s really hard!
I think it’s just about impossible to out do the over-the-top writing in real perfume copy. I tried to go for off-the-wall concepts instead, but even then I kept thinking that my craziest ideas were probably no crazier than some real perfume concepts out there.
