Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Acqua ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 26 January 2016 6 Comments

Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Acqua

Tom Ford will launch Neroli Portofino Acqua in April. The new Private Blend fragrance is a flanker to 2007's Neroli Portofino.

Vibrant. Sparkling. Transportive.

Neroli Portofino Acqua is an invitation into the seductive atmosphere of the Italian Riviera from a new perspective --afloat in the coastline's idyllic azure waters, with endless skies overhead and steep, verdant hillsides just within view. A fresher expression of Neroli Portofino's clear and sparkling facets, it is an irresistibly light way to wear the fragrance's citrus-and-amber signature.

Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Acqua is available now for pre-order at Barneys, in 50 ($150) or 100 ($205) ml Eau de Parfum.

I love the original Neroli Portofino. I just wish it would last longer on me. It seems like this version is lighter than the original. It sounds really nice, though.

Lighter and a wee bit cheaper.

There will also be Neroli Portofino Forte on April. An intense version and more expensive.

‘Cos the only problem with Tom Ford perfumes is that they are not expensive enough!

You cant really see from the picture but the Neroli Acqua is in a frosted bottle/lid. The forte is in a dark blue bottle but with a raised engraved gold metal plaque on the front like a lot of the signature bottles, rather than the gold sticker which is on all the other private blends.

In the UK I’m told that Tom Ford Portofino Forte will be available from Valentine’s Day Feb 14th in the Harrods Salon de Parfum as an exclusive before being rolled out elsewhere in April . Neroli Portofino Acqua doesn’t have an exclusive release & will be available everywhere from 6th March.

The Acqua is priced £95 for 50ml (it’s an EDT rather than the usual EDP hence the lower price) whereas the Forte will be an eye-watering £195 for 50ml EDP
