Pierre Guillaume / Huitieme Art Shermine ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 30 September 2015 4 Comments

Parfumerie Générale Shermine

French niche line Pierre Guillaume has launched Shermine, a new fragrance in their Huitième Art Collection.

Iris like fur…

Woody and powdery, but also warm and floral, iris is transformed by a clever spicy-aromatic accord of cardamom, rosewood and lavender.

It becomes as hazy, immaculate and caressing as white fur.

Pepper and the zest of Argentinean lemon give it verticality, pulling the precious material into the top notes and making it sparkle. Vanilla and musks add their creaminess to an extremely elegant woody base of vetiver, patchouli and guaiac wood.

Pierre Guillaume Shermine is available now at the brand's website, in 50 (€110)and 100 (€160) ml.

Whew, for a minute there, I thought this was a new launch in the main line, with the nice glass bottles being replaced by the deodorant-shaped bottles of 8me! So glad that was just my jumping to FALSE! conclusions.

I like that he’s doing different bottles so you can tell the collections apart.
