Happy Constitution Day! What fragrance are you wearing?
I'm in Annick Goutal Un Matin d’Orage.
Extra reminder: splitmeet coming up on Saturday!
Reminder: tomorrow will be H2O Friday: wear a fragrance with a marine / aquatic / water note, or wear a fragrance that reminds you of the sea (or some other body of water) in some other way.
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2015, where I'll try to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.

Draining my sample of Shalimar soufflé .
Another hot sticky day- stay cool
Is it a must buy?
The name alone sounds like a must-buy!
If a bottle happened to fall into my lap I would be ok- but I am not sure yet if I am willing to dish out $ for it
I NEVER thought I’d like it..
I love shalimar, especially ode de la vanille madagascar.
I really hate sweet/gourmands..
But I found a sample a few weeks ago.
Just bought my second bottle, my husbands loves it so much, He had surgery last week and we had a really horrible time.
he’s recovering very well and this scent gave me a lot of comfort. Give it a try, you might surprised like me!
Continuing my attempt to bridge summer and fall with Bond No. 9’s Washington Square. I like it. It’s a bit linear, but nicely woody. Probably won’t last the day though, so I’ll try to spruce it up with Eau d’Orange Verte.
Eau d’Orange Verte would spruce up anything 🙂
It’s a great sprucer, and good thing because it’s so ephemeral.
Twins! I’m still not a fan of the opening of this one, but the drydown is summery gardenia heaven!
Ha, I’m still not a fan of the opening either.
I’m wearing Agent Provocateur.
I don’t have anything, even a sample I don’t think, with a marine note; but if I had some of the original Acqua di Gio for women, I’d wear it tomorrow. I like it!
That’s impressive. Do you dislike marine notes that much or do you prefer other styles than that so much that marine note perfumes never came your way?
I’m not particularly fond of them, but I do have Reflection Woman by Amouage I’ll most likely wear tomorrow.
Marine notes just remind me DEEPLY of the 90s, when I wore both CK One and L’Eau d’Issey. Guess I overdosed and I generally do not find them appealing anymore.
Ooh! I forgot about L’Eau d”Issey. That was one of my faves back in the day. I still have a partial bottle. Hmmm…
Those were the days- CK one shower before school
I was looking again for that first batch Escape bottle, but it seems that I really got rid of it. Total overdose, lol, that smell is printed in my brain!
Really, you don’t have to wear marine notes! Anything that reminds you of the sea or water or…?
How about something with “Eau” in the name?! (I just enabled all the cheaters)
If I have something with a marine note, it is so small that I don’t even know it’s there. I’m going with something that makes me think of water…..
Supposedly Musc Monoi has one but I actually never noticed it
Wearing Sarrasins for two days in a row because I am debating if I should just bite the bullet and get that three quarter full of Sarrasins on E-bay. I can’t believe that my birthday was two days ago and still haven’t got my perfume gift for myself.
I cannot either! Goodness, I think my next three or four birthdays have already been “taken” in the name of perfume presents to myself. Get going sister!
Hahaha, same here 😉
Happy belated Birthday!
Happy belated birthday. I was pretty generous to myself, getting Indigo Vanilla and Shanghai Lily and I may still get myself Nine Reasons
Happy birthday!
Happy Belated Birthday! And you must definitely get your perfume present to self!
Happy birthday!
Happy Birthday! Hope you find a perfect perfume gift for yourself.
All sorts of happy wishes, and go get your perfume!
Happy belated birthday! Gift yourself something wonderful!
Happy birthday! Get that perfume!
I’m wearing Jo Malone Oud & Bergamot, and eating a piece of banana bread for breakfast.
I had a few bananas that were starting to turn, and my daughter asked if I could bake some banana bread yesterday evening. Its been a long time since I’ve made it.
Delicious indulgence!
I usually wind up putting overripe bananas in the freezer and collecting them up until I can make a double recipe of banana bread. Yum.
I can't believe I don't do that…it's how I collect the makings of chicken broth, including the veg, but never thought to freeze bananas.
It definitely works, but the bananas look totally gross when they defrost…..
If you slice before freezing, they can double as smoothie ingredients, as long as you’ve got something strongly colored to add to the smoothie, such as blueberries.
I am VERY picky about the level of ripeness of bananas for eating, so we end up doing this a lot. Also great for making smoothies – don’t need ice or as much sweetener as they are very ripe. Pro-tip – peel them and put them in a ziploc as they are a pain to peel frozen or thawed (mushy).
I gave my mom Oud & Bergamot for Xmas last year. Sometimes, I find myself spraying it on when she isn’t looking. LOL! Its a sophisticated, sexy scent!
I enjoy wearing it. I have a small decant of it. I wish they sold it in a smaller size, because then I’d buy a full bottle.
I think I’ll have to get out the last of my Matin d’Orage sample for tomorrow, it’s the only thing I’ve got with a watery note.
For today? SSS Tabac Aurea. It really feels like autumn here.
That one is perfect for autumn…
Tabac Aurea is very suited to fall weather. I think of bright leaves stuck to the damp ground – that spicy smell that leaves have after they have fallen.
I keep thinking of that one and forgetting to wear it. You smell great!
I love that one. Am waiting for cooler weather to wear mine.
Dries van Noten.
Creamy sandalwood suggests the cozy warmth. Powdery vanilla, sweet tonka bean, and faint spiciness of saffron capture the gourmand treats.
For this bleak and gloomy weather here, I seek shelter in a Baroque-styled café with its plush, velvety crimson interior and pervading aroma of freshly baked pastries, confectionery, and biscuits lightly spiced with cinnamon or cloves. All of this wrap around you in the coziest of comfort. Yum!
Hey, any room for me at your table?
Of course, some Earl Grey to go with speculoos, perhaps?
If you ever visited Zürich, I highly recommend wearing Dries van Noten and have some lemon tartlet at http://www.conditorei-cafe-schober.ch 😉
Okay!
When I go to Zurich I will wear Dries van Noten, at least the perfume if not his amazing clothing, AND I will visit Michel Péclard and ask for a large slice of tarte au citron with two forks…
Now I will go back to unpacking groceries…
Ahhh… the sweet life…
Thank you for the little mind trip!
I was thinking more of the perfume — not much of a terribly fashionable guy lol.
Anyway, I would gladly introduce you to the generous Chanel SA who shoves Les Exclusifs samples at you!
Wow – what a description!
SOTD is Triomphe (Rance).
Sometimes I get so frustrated trying to decide what scent I’m in the mood for. I started out today looking at my box full of minis, trying to decide between Gucci Guilty and Prada. Since neither were quite right, I thought about Cabaret, which lead me on to some other roses. I finally decided to try an untouched decant of AA Rosa Magnifica, which is a quite linear rose scent. I’m trying to decide on tomorrow’s fragrance – whether to go old school with the most classic of aquatic scents, Cool Water Woman, or to go with Iroaz. Frustrating.
That happens to me every day. The bigger the collection, the harder it seems to be.
That’s exactly why I pared down my minis and now only have a small collection of ones I know I’ll want to wear or want to try.
If you usually spray but the mini comes in splash, do you end up just dabbing or do you transfer to an atomizer first and then apply?
No, I still dab. I’m a bit too lazy to transfer all those dabber vials and minis into spray bottles – but it would be nice if they were all in spray!
That’s one reason why I decided to dump the tons of nice samples I had a few years ago. It’s hard enough to pick without the struggle to test as well. Sometimes I have a hard time choosing too, but on a day like that I just go with one of my standard go to frags or I’ll wait until about lunchtime to apply – sometimes a mood will come to me later.
yes, sometimes I get annoyed at so many samples to choose from, too many, and just put a bunch of them in swap bundles. Simplify my life. Then I start getting another list of interesting scents to sample, and then STC or somewhere has a sale, and I end up with another batch. I still have that set of Memo samples you sent me. I like Kedu, and Granada the best of what I have tried, but I haven’t gotten through all of them…
See how this goes? I totally didn’t even remember I sent anything to you, lol!!!
So, I was a little bad and got a bottle of Marni Rose even though I have a bottle of Marni Spice en route (although yay, first good TJ Maxx find!). I like the original much better and even though this one’s pretty, there’s a note (maybe the mint?) that I don’t really like. The drydown’s good, though, so we’ll see if this grows on me or if it ends up in the next swap meet.
Ohh Marni Spice–I was just wondering the other day, isn’t there a third now, or am I imagining! Drat now I wish I’d seized on that opportunity to stop into a Marni boutique, as I have not seen Spice anywhere… Have you gotten to smell it yet or is the one en route to you a surprise? Will look forward to hearing how you like it!
There are no boutiques anywhere near me, so it’s going to be a complete surprise when it shows up tonight… hopefully a good surprise! I’ll definitely report back once I’ve had a chance to test it out, but I’m really excited for this one.
I’d love to hear about it too. I didn’t even know Marni Spice existed until I came across it while looking up reviews trying to decide whether to buy my bottle of Marni Rose.
Today my Pacifica French Lilac was delivered, and I am wearing it now. Lovely lilac!
SOTD is Eccentric Molecules Molecule 01.
About a week and a half ago, STC had a 40% off sale on a lot of their fragrances and I took advantage. I found a lot of fragrances that I wore years ago and loved. So, today, I decided to revisit one of my old favorites.
My SOTD is “Deseo” by Jennifer Lopez. This is probably the only fragrance from her line that I liked. It brings back good memories. I might eventually have to go in search of a FB. 🙂
At the Walgreens here, they had it in the clearance section.
It’s a pretty bottle, too
I’m pretty sure I have an unloved bottle at home I could send you for shipping costs. Let me check and I’ll get back to you!
I had this fleeting thought that deseo means I want you in Spanish and when I looked it up, it translates to desire — I was not far off!
SOTD = SL Chergui
I’m wearing this for the 2nd time this week and I am loving it!
Tomorrow’s challenge will be a challenge; however, since we are free to interpret ozonic and marine, I will be creative!
Or reminds you of the sea– perhaps something you bought or wore during one of your cruises?
It will be a more creative interpretation of “water” – MWAHAHAHAHA
Ha well now that sounds terrifying!!
I can assure you it won’t be that O’Driu Peety (too lazy to check on spelling) where you have to supply your own p–
But what a brilliant idea!
Really craving something elegant and end-of-summer-ish so I put on 24 Faoubourg today.
Scent twins! I have a little mini of this in the office, and my early morning scent (Chanel No. 5 EDT, applied at around 5 am) has mostly worn off, so I switched to 24 Faoubourg. Definitely elegant, and usually has pretty good staying power especially compared to the No. 5 which never lasts long on me.
Goodness, both of those last all day on me. I think No 5 lasts longer than 24 Faubourg, but that’s ok. Sometimes I tire a little of the white flowers by the end of the day.
Can’t get much more elegant than 24 Faubourg!
I haven’t worn 24 since last winter and spritzed some on this morning too. It just felt right.
It rained last night (Hallelujah!) so the world is grey and damp… which for a northern Californian looking at her newly planted garden (ripped out the lawn three months ago, but it has taken a while to move the project forward) is just a lovely sight. And of course, our hearts are in our mouths about the zillion wildfires that are being fought up and down the state….let it rain!
I’m in Caron’s Pour un Homme, which feels right for the wet lavender and rosemary sense (and scent) of the day.
It was really hard to find Caron here, but I have managed to discover it in the cupboard of the perfumery.
Along with Fougère Royale, Jicky, and Mouchoir de Monsieur, I get this feeling that lavender note — in perfumes, and not L’Occitane’s handcream — is characteristic of another era — when civet, lavender, and carnation were as common as we now have oud everywhere 🙂
Have you tried the Caron Pour Un Homme Millesime? I have been told that it is simply the EdP concentration. When I compared them side by side, the latter seemed to be bolder and its lavender has lost some sweetness. It is likely that Caron is trying to increase the longevity in order to compete with the heavily fragrant atmosphere we now live in. Still, I very much like the ingenuity of Caron Pour Un Homme: simple, sweet, powdery lavender and vanilla.
No I haven’t. I will keep my eye out for it.
If I had it my way with Pour un Homme, I would like the salty lavender, herbs and vanilla amped up, and the powder dialed down… in a perfect world. I wonder how it smelled in the 1930s?
I am just glad that I get to sniff the legacy hmmm… now going to my sample of Caron.
Yikes, I hope the wildfires stay at bay. I just read about a possible tsunami warning due to the Chile earthquake, but the report said it wouldn’t do any damage. Hopefully you get some more rain soon.
So nice to have some rain, isn’t it? We took out our back lawn a couple of years ago and put in plantings and some rock paths instead, and it just gets better each year as the shrubs mature. I’m glad your garden is surviving this ridiculous summer – ours is pretty hardy now, but it had its first-month trial by ice instead of fire – within a month of being finished, the temperature dropped into single digits for about a week. I was certain we would lose half of the baby plants, but most everything made it through.
There is something nobly Darwinian about our new “lawn” gardens don’t you think? (I’m looking at you Mock Orange plants—fight, fight, fight!)
“Nobly Darwinian” – very apt description! I’m sending strengthening thoughts to your Mock Oranges. 🙂
Best wishes with your garden! It will be wonderful in a few years once things take hold. There are so many nice drought tolerant plants & shrubs to get these days. I hope wet weather returns to your area soon and lasts through the whole winter. All the fires are so awful.
Congrats on getting some rain and on your new garden!
Wearing Jlo Wild Glo today. I like it, it could be a sheer version of Black Opium.
Ta’if today from my new bottle. Yum yum.
Was traveling since last Friday and missed quite a few things, so I’m still catching up, but wanted to send good wishes to dear Thegoddessrena – I am so sorry about your sweet kitty. Do remember what a good life you’ve given her, because that’s all that a kitty could want in life.
*could want *period*. Aaaah poor editing. My apologies.
She is getting better! All of the prayers and reiki are working! Not out of the woods yet but she ate a couple of bites of food last night!
I will be in the NY/ NJ area on 9/27, staying in a hotel in Jersey City so I can watch the full lunar eclipse, preferably over the Manhattan skyline but I’d love to go sniffing or do another live swap earlier in the day
Yay!. So glad to hear she is doing better!
Yay!
Oh my goodness that is wonderful news. So relieved!!!
I will be around that weekend so do let me know, and do give my regards to your furry one.
Great news, and let’s get together!
I’m so glad she’s better and hope she continues to improve!
Yay for kitty!
Congrats on your new bottle of Ta’if! Ta’if is one of my favs once the fall weather shows up. And I always struggle with wanting a bottle of Tolu….
It is rainy and coolish (for us) today so I am wearing Omnia original, which can be a bit much in muggy heat.
Sampling Box of Eels! Very happy with it but it is fading away mid morning. Wish I had gotten the parfum strength instead!
Yes, the parfum strength is the way to go with this one!
I was SUPER PISSED OFF this morning (stressful family stuff, think Philip Larkin’s “This Be The Verse”) and the only thing that would do was a big blast of Mitsouko edt, basically bottled fury. How I love it. It actually put me in a better frame of mind.
Way to go!
I had an equally horrible day yesterday and the day before, similarly instigated. Larkin says it well. I can also recommend Jules Feiffer for the mood. Cannot think of any specific quote, but he has nailed my family’s bad behavior since I was a pre-teen (and that was a loooong time ago) reading the cartoon pages in the SF Chronicle.
Hypnotic Poison.
Wearing Le Galion Whip today, as it’s hot and sticky and possibly the last hot and sticky day we’ll have this season? Anyway, my fingers are crossed.
Day two of Narciso and that full bottle is looking even more probable.
You smell great! I fell for the charms of this one, too. So snuggly.
Sampling TF Shanghai Lily today. It’s nice for an hour but then loses its flavor and dries down to a generic vanilla. I had the same experience with Noir de Noir. That hour is quite nice, though.
I’ve heard that about lots of the Private Collection ones… does anyone have a Tom Ford PC that they absolutely love?
Honestly, they are not my favorite. I much prefer his signature line that is carried by Sephora and others, Black Orchid etc.
Not sure about the “absolutely love part”, but I like Plum Japonaise and Cafe Rose and both retain their oomph for a lot longer. The cost is a bit steep for me for any of them, though, so I’m content with samples.
Sephora.com now has the PC line, and they have an excellent return policy.
Too late, possibly, but yes: Fleur de Chine is and Velvet Gardenia (dc) used to be absolute love. Lys Fume, Cafe Rose and Tuscan Leather are big likes.
Thanks for all the input!
I love Shanghai Lily. I fell hard for it. It lasts all day on me. The SA gave me a big sample and by the time I returned from a trip I headed straight to Bloomies counter for a FB, like an addict needed a fix. I think it was a birthday gift from me to me. I also love Tabacco Oud. I cannot go and test anymore right now as they are so costly!
SOTM is Flowerbomb for its fluffy vanilla and tobacco coziness. Hubby and I have been on a road trip vacation this week – were in northern California yesterday to visit the redwoods (Stout Grove – gorgeous and amazing!), and were going to head home to Portland slowly starting Friday. But we simultaneously came down with severe homesickness and decided to make a beeline for home yesterday. Way too many hours in a car, but we’re appreciating the amenities in our own house this morning!
Road trips are the best! Glad you had fun and got home safely.
Thanks! They really ARE the best, especially now that flying is very little fun anymore. I occasionally wonder if a long train trip might be fun. I’ve only taken short hops by train, and found the quiet ride blissful.
Hello, all. You smell just wonderful in your rich, expansive, autumn-oriented glories, and by contrast, my SOTD seems rather small and narrow: Ninfeo Mio. This is my scent for the Friday project, after twenty minutes (really!) of hopeless dithering. It’s a cool smell and brings to mind a water feature in a tranquil garden, which I believe is what it set out to do, so it’s most unfair of me to want movement and wildness. Bottom line: it’s perfectly lovely, and I’m being contrary.
Ninfeo Mio is so lovely! I actually think it works in the cool weather too – there is something about that boxwood accord that is very cheering and green when the weather is dreary. You could tie a red ribbon around it and make it into a holiday wreath, lol!! I also think of damp mosses and dripping rock walls when I wear it. It is very atmospheric.
Yes, my problems today are in my head, not in the perfume bottle. You’re quite right: it’s green and refreshing and calming, and many other good things. I need to re-calibrate my attitude to the poor little Ninfeo, which is doing its level best to do a good job for me.
I just noticed a strong resemblance between Ninfeo Mio and the top note of Trèfle Pur from Atelier Cologne. Have people tried both? If so, what do you think?
I haven’t ever tried the Atelier line, even when I’ve been abroad. I can see it’s an omission I should correct next time in the other hemisphere, though.
Oh, and leathermountain, I know what I wanted to say to you: the gentle push you gave me that ended up with my stepping down from the “Head of” role turned out to be a double blessing, so I owe you not one, but two drinks when I someday get to NYC. One of my staff found herself unable to continue with her teaching this year, and I’m now able to fill the gap her departure created from this week until the end of semester. I would have stepped in anyway, but I think I wouldn’t have managed anything properly if I had been still been grimly hanging persevering with the “Head of” thing. So, double thanks: you probably made a casual comment, but it fell on fertile soil for me
I’m so glad it all worked out so well for you and for your school!
Today’s scent is Joy’s 1000. It’s bit sexy for day time, but with a couple of tiny, tiny spritzes it’s a perfect thing for our rainy day. It’s a skin scent on me now (930 AM PST- I start work at 630 AM), and I may touch up at noon.
There is nothing wrong with daytime sexy.
Another beautiful day here but still about ten degrees above normal. I’m so ready to wear my jeans and sweaters, but these same old tired summer t-shirts keep getting hauled out day after day. Pardon my whining, I’ll be regretting every word in a couple of months! Wearing Bottega Veneta today so at least I smell great 🙂
You DO smell great – BV is a cozy snuggly sweater in perfume form.
Bottega Veneta always smells great. I got residue of the dry body oil on my bathrobe last weekend, and every time I put my robe on now, I am greeted by that wonderful warm smell.
I am wearing the Eau Legere version today. I am still trying to figure out if I like it or not. I am not a huge patchouli fan, but it is pretty nice.
I like the Eau Legere too….It’s very work friendly.
It’s a stormy day here, but I put on some Regime des Fleurs Turquoise to brighten things up. Love the wildflower kind of smell that I notice with this one.
Ringthing, I’m wearing jeans and a sweater today so I’ll send you some cool weather vibes. This morning I also stood in front of the perfume cabinet wondering what appealed to me. I almost went with 24, Faubourg, then considered Sarrasins and Moon Bloom, but ended up in Shalimar Ode …Mexique. It’s really pretty but the name is ridiculously long and I can’t remember it all.
In my mind it’s abbreviated to ‘Mexican Shalimar’.
This morning, I’m testing out First. Pretty and womanly.
SOTD for Throwback Thursday is Karl Lagerfeld Sun Moon Stars. I found its lovely midnight blue glass bottle not long ago in my collection and since I haven’t worn it for a long time decided to revisit it today. I think the trick to enjoying the powerhouse scents of the 80’s and 90’s is to spritz lightly (and far away from one’s head/nose!).
Despite its overwhelming array of notes – (from fragrantica) top: freesia, bergamot, pineapple, orange blossom, lotus, rice and juicy peach.; heart: heliotrope, intensive jasmine, orange blossom, daffodil, carnation, lily of the valley, seductive orchid and iris; base: sandalwood, cedar, amber, musk, and vanilla – a light application on me is mostly a soft orange blossom/powdery heliotrope/woody sandalwood and is very enjoyable today.
I took the liberty of dipping into my very precious decant of Amouage Beloved today just because it is so gorgeous! Sometimes when I test it, I think this could be a signature scent for me if I was willing to give up the rest of my collection!
What’s that? Were you saying you needed an enabler?? Extra 25% off existing discounts at FragranceNet, and they have a tester–$169 in the end… 🙂
(Also maybe there’d be splitters this weekend who could help defray cost/quantity?)
Grinding my teeth here….If I hadn’t just put new brakes and routers (sp?), roters? on the Subaru, we’d be in business….. Does a person really need good brakes when a bottle of Beloved is at stake?
BTW – what is the code? I’ve not seen it. Just in case…..
Good question, I am trying to find it for you but it’s not telling me the number–it just asks me to put my email in and then the coupon’s automatically applied to my cart. But I just found it by going to the FragranceNet.com, and it came up on the homepage, so hoping that will work for you too!
We do need you in one piece to enjoy that Beloved bottle properly, so I supposed prioritizing the brakes investment is the proper horse/cart order of operations! 🙂
I’ve always thought that nothing could replace Gold as my favourite Amouage but I’m finding out that I wear Beloved far more often. It’s just so affable and lovely.
I got very lucky on ebay and now have a full bottle.
I remember when you scored that bottle – it’s a big deal to get a good price on an Amouage!! Affable is the perfect description. It is so much at place in my collection with my greens and chypres, but is really different too. Classy without being too uptight – elegant but casual – complex without overwhelming. It’s those subtle dualities that keep me interested. All its parts are just lovely. I only have a few other fragrances that I consider so perfect from top to bottom. I put my dabs on this morning, and I can still smell it 12 hours later!
I couldn’t have put it better myself!
Wearing smellbent Blimey Limey! today. Such a fun name, and it is a nice creamy not too tart lime. Wish they still made it as I only have a sample of the oil. I used to love aquatics and wore Escape, L’Eau D’Issey, Acqua di Gio, New West, Escada Ocean Blue, Elizabeth Taylor Diamonds & Sapphires, CK One, etc. For tomorrow, I’ll probably just wear Eau de Merveilles. I do also have a mini of Missoni Acqua, which I feel like is a very close dupe of Byblos, another 90s aquatic.
Wearing The 7% Solution from EnVoyage which was part of the Unreleased project from Tigerlily. I hope this does eventually get released–it’s very pretty
I’m wearing Lucid from House of Matriarch. I love that it smells a bit different each time I wear it.
I’m at the beach on a beautiful sunny day, put on Chance edp this morning. Now just enjoying this relaxing afternoon, fragrances by actual sea air!
Late to the party this time. I’m wearing Un Cœur en Mai (MDCI). It’s simple but gorgeous.
‘A heart in May’? I looked up this, and recognised those bottles instantly. I should give MDCI lines a sniff.
They are very expensive but it is a beautiful line. Their sample set is actually a good deal. The fragrances are not groundbreaking but imho mostly very well made classical French perfumes.
I’m cleaning up some old tools today so mostly smell of rust. Started out not being in a perfume mood and wearing a dab of Anya’s Garden Ambress, enjoyed it so much I decided to try something stronger and over applied Jubilation XXV which is making me irritable.
One of the kittens is loosing baby teeth and has two lower fangs sticking straight out and catching on her tongue and lips. They aren’t loose enough for me to yank without hurting her but they are driving her nuts. It’s actually really cute but I feel bad for her.
I cannot wait for the puppy to start losing those baby teeth. Those things hurt like hell and she’s at that playful nippy stage. She’s gentle when she takes treats from me but my hubby hasn’t figured out how to teach her that with him and she’s tried taking his finger along with the treat. I find it funny. Eventually they both will learn.
Yep, like little razors. Still, I don’t remember any of my previous kittens having two huge fangs flopping around and I feel guilty for giggling at her.
Now I have two entertaining suffering kittens. Doolittle grabbed a bumblebee when we went out for leash training so she has a HUGE hand. Still, she doesn’t seem to feel too bad and is eating and drinking, just looks like she has an oven mitt on. Hope the swelling goes down soon, it must really throb!
I’m wearing Reem Acra today. Hadn’t worn this one in a while, but I’m starting to crave fall stuff, so there you go.
Sample of the day is Hiris.
For me it is a clean-feeling, polished scent. It gives me a bit of extra backbone.
I’m starting to think of it as my secret armor when I have a challenging day.
