Ralph Lauren Polo Supreme Leather ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 3 September 2015 12 Comments

Ralph Lauren Polo Supreme Leather

Ralph Lauren will launch Polo Supreme Leather, a new fragrance for men, next month. Polo Supreme Leather follows Polo Supreme Oud, introduced earlier this year.

Supreme Luxury. Supreme Quality. Supreme Intensity.

Crafted by the true connoisseur of fine leather, Ralph Lauren's Polo Supreme Leather is a tempting warm blend of golden spices with an addictive leather accord.

Additional notes include cardamom, nutmeg, saffron and honey.

Ralph Lauren Polo Supreme Leather is available now for pre-order at Bloomingdales, 125 ml Eau de Parfum, $125.

Hmm. That bottle is appealing, and I have liked some of his efforts in the past. Have not heard about Polo Supreme Oud….

I am actually quite a sucker for much of Ralph Lauren’s body of work – I like the horsey clothes, and the adorable ads of unbearably pretty, privileged people are sort of a feedback to the fantasies my mother had of the life she wished she were living….

Polo Supreme Oud is not hard to find I don’t think…even saw it at Sephora (online though).

The horsey clothes always look better on the hangers than on my body, which is just as well I guess!

…and if you weren’t wearing Polo,(or Dakkar Noir) then you were a nobody.
I was a nobody! I was wearing Chanel pour Monsieur.

I still wear the original Polo which is the only one that I ever liked. I love a leather scent so I will give this one a try. I love Cabochard as a nice Fall leather scent so it will be interesting to smell Ralph’s take on a leather scent. Robin, do you have any leather scents that come to mind that you enjoy or recommend? Always looking for a new leather scent to add to my fragrance inventory. That Theirry Mugler A-Men Leather I heard smells nothing like leather. Thoughts?? Happy Labor Day to you and the NST staff/members.

The A-Men Leather was the weak link in the A-Men serie of flankers.Cabochard is great for fall.
I also enjoy Trussardi Uomo and the sadly discountinued Leatherware 01 by Coach.

You know, I like leather but I’m far from a leather fiend! You might try scrolling through the leather tag for more recs:

But I would recommend Chanel Cuir de Russie, Knize Ten (the classics), Cuir de Lancome (easier to wear than those 2). I adore Hermes Cuir d’Ange but admittedly it’s a lightweight.
