Smart PR move on EL’s part to reel in Kendall Jenner.
I guess? I have a hard time telling if this will really move product, I’m so not in the target market.
I’m not the Kendall Jenner target market either. I’m an old fart, but I feel EL is trying to re-brand themselves to appeal to a younger audience. Don’t know if it’ll work, but glad they stepped out of their “middle aged lady” comfort zone.
Lol. Me neither. However I would say that she has the Estee Lauder model ‘look’.
I think it’s a very savvy PR move on their part, especially since they were going after a demographic that is young and pre-disposed to like makeup, etc, ; it’s a perfect fit.
I just wish they’d had a different gene pool to draw from, because this choice has put me right off the brand.
But is she really popular? Seems like nearly everything I read about the Kardashians is negative. So obviously they are fantastic for getting publicity, but not sure it’s the kind of publicity that sells perfume. (Not saying it isn’t, saying I don’t know)
Too bad the Kardashians didn’t live up to the Andy Warhol motto of the 15 minutes of fame.
