Sarah Horowitz Biography Scents of Self

Sarah Horowitz will launch Biography Scents of Self, a new quartet of layerable fragrances featuring the brand's popular Perfect Veil scent.

Perfect Veil ~ "Your second skin, made with a sparkle of lemon, and hint of vanilla and a blend of five soft musks. Exquisite and subtle when worn alone, Perfect Veil increases warmth and staying power when layered with any scent." In 30 ml Eau de Parfum spray.

Scents of Awakening ~ "Your jubilant start, made with a blend of tropical fruits, a touch of ginger and an anchor of pacific musk. Vibrant when worn alone, Awakening adds lift and sparkle when layered with others." In 10 ml Eau de Parfum rollerball.

Scents of Harmony ~ "Your floral heart, made with a bloom of Hawaiian Gardenia, petals of Stargazer Lily and a wrap of sheer musk. Soft and romantic when worn alone, Harmony adds a sheer feminine touch when layered with others." In 10 ml Eau de Parfum rollerball.

Scents of Passion ~ "Your sensual base, blending warm amber, sandalwood, a touch of patchouli and a swirl of heavenly vanilla. Devastatingly sexy alone, but when layered, adds richness and depth to any fragrance." In 10 ml Eau de Parfum rollerball.

Sarah Horowitz Biography Scents of Self can be found now for pre-order (delivery in September) at QVC, $85 for the coffret.

The WWD article starts “Sarah Horowitz has achieved cult status as an indie perfumer, but she’d prefer to edge closer to the mainstream.”

Well, QVC will definitely accomplish that.

Would love to try these. Or rather: their effects, when layered. Interesting that this acknowledges layering as “a thing”

It’s pretty mainstream now, I’d think! Jo Malone is everywhere, after all.
