The Old Spice Man (aka Isaiah Mustafa) returns, in some sort of competition with some other pretender Old Spice Man that I don't care about.

It’s Terry Crews, who is just a ridiculously sweet and awesome actor, dad and feminist (!) who used to be a football player (!!). Had no idea he did Old Spice.
Have been watching this incredibly crazy show called Hannibal, where the title character is a serial killer who recycles his victims into dinner,and has a very strange friendship with a FBI agent.
ANYWAYS! A running joke on the show is that Hannibal disses his friend for wearing Old Spice. Which is hilarious, since the cologne is so darn popular that maybe 20% of men are probably wearing it at one time or another.
Thank you. Glad to hear he is ridiculously sweet, but I do not like his part of the commercial — I’ll stick with Mr. Mustafa 😉

In the movie (Silence of the Lambs) Hannibal Lecter identifies Jody Foster’s perfume as L’Air du Temps. I think that may be a parody of that(Hannibal had good taste in the movie).
The exact line from Hannibal to Clarice (the FBI agent) is “sometimes you wear L’Air du Temps. But not today” all in his creepy “i know you” voice.
Yep, saw this one last night and I’m with you on my preference of Old Spice Guy.
I have a feeling he’s also the more expensive Old Spice Guy? But maybe I’m wrong, I clearly don’t have any sense of the value of the Other Guy.
