Nicki Minaj The Pinkprint ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 24 July 2015 14 Comments

 Nicki Minaj The Pinkprint

Singer Nicki Minaj will launch The Pinkprint in September. The new fragrance for women was named for her latest studio album and 2015 tour.

The notes feature grapefruit, bergamot, passion fruit, sandalwood and patchouli.

Nicki Minaj The Pinkprint will be available in 30 ml Eau de Parfum (and possibly other sizes as well).

What a disconcerting bottle. I presume you remove the head to spray it…

Yes. She’s been using variations on that bottle all along.

I think they’re seriously creepy. I wouldn’t want that thing staring at me while I sleep.

Ha, I always thought that about Anna Sui Dolly Girl!

The Dolly Girl bottles HORRIFY me. They’re like evil clown dolls or something.

I think the Minaj bottles are actually sort of charming, all those different hairstyles and outfits: they’re like a marginally more sophisticated version of those Gwen Stefani Harajuku Girls bottles.

This is actually one of her more approachable bottles..it’s almost cute…but still bottles in body shapes is a peeve..like JPG.

I don’t mind them. Probably doesn’t help, but JPG was mostly copying Schiaparelli (or maybe someone earlier that I don’t even know about).

    It almost looks futuristic.
Maybe Tyler Perry should do a remake of Barbarella.

The face looks like a cross between Robocop and The Terminator .

To be honest, I’m a little bummed they did a white wig again. Haha! But I get it, it matches the album cover perfectly. Still! Lol!

And the pink fingerprints on her bra-thingy? (Pardon me, I’m not sure what the proper name for this article of clothing is).

I think it’s a variation on the bustier. Kind of like what Madonna wore on her Blond Ambition tour back in 1990.

But going back before Madonna, it was Dale Bozzio from the new wave group Missing Persons who pioneered the look back in 1981-82.

I scored a bottle on eBay, and it’s delicious! It’s seriously Miami Glow, but hey, I’m not complaining. My Miami Glow is definitely turning, so now I have The Pinkprint to get my tropical fix. Haha!
