Wow, this one sounds darn nice! It’s too bad none of the stores near me have the Private Blends in-store. I’ve probably smelled like 4 from the line, and don’t remember any of them very much. I guess it’s a good thing, cuz they’re pricey little things. Haha

They are very definitely pricey little things. Luckily I am not all that enthralled either, although there are certainly a few I’d house if they showed up on my doorstep ;-)

Taking in cute little orphan perfumes. How sweet of you.

Oooh Robin , I’m intrigued – which ones would you give a home to if they turned up on the doorstep ??

Oud Wood for sure — I’d possibly buy that if it were cheaper. And Santal Blush, and maybe Shanghai Lily.

But I’ve found most of this collection disappointingly “unspecial”.

The notes look really good. I just hope it doesn’t smell like a vat of chemicals.

LOL — that could be the standard perfumista prayer, right?

Again, with the Tom Ford line, it is either a hit or miss for me. I can never go by the listing of notes but how it blends with my skin. I either go absolutely bananas over it or just flat out don’t like it. So, as with all of TF new releases, I will go down and see how well it sits with me. But, I’m liking the sound of it…..

And I can never go by the listing of notes but how any perfume blends with my skin…

Bit of on odd name. To the best of my knowledge Bergamot is not grown in Venice. Other than that it sounds rather nice. Expensive line though.
I liked Shanghai Lily but I believe that was part of the Private Line.

I am that Rarest of “Rara Avis” In that My Local Neiman’s AND Saks carry Both Full line of Tom Ford scents (Private Blend and Signature) And I Have Sampled them all, (Except the Jasmin Rouge… when i went to try it, the Sample Spray bottle was empty and they had no Vial samples, although Vials of the PB scents are rarity in and of itself!) But ALL of the Tom Ford fragrances Smell Absolutely DIVINE On me! Even the Women’s (Violet Blond being my least favorite… Not a big Violet kinda guy, here!) So I am assured this will smell HEAVENLY!

P.S. Correction, last time I went Neiman’s nor Saks had Gotten in the Patchouli Absolu, so I actually haven’t smelled that one either, so EXCEPTING Patchouli Absolu and Jasmin Rouge I have smelled all of the current ones in distribution… Some were discontinued before my stores got the TF Lines!

P.P.S. I DO LOVE BERGAMOT! So High Hopes for this! <3 :-) :-D
