Perfumer Francis Kurkdjian has created Stratus 2015, a "curtain of scented mist" for the Pavillon Lille3000 at the Milan World Expo 2015.
For 20 years, Francis Kurkdjian has sublimated the bounties of nature by weaving them into perfumes. Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci, he has imagined a floral sfumato for the cloister of the Palazzo delle Stelline: this vaporous atmosphere is an invitation to drift into a mist inspired by the scents of the many plants featured in Textifood, the theme of Lille3000 exhibition.
The "curtain" can be smelled through July 14, 2015; for more information, see the Lille3000 website.

This sounds idyllic.
I think so too.
