Marc Jacobs will launch Mod Noir, a new fragrance for women, in June. Like the designer's first fragrance, Marc Jacobs for Women, Mod Noir centers on gardenia.
Mod Noir was developed by perfumer Jean-Claude Delville, who also developed 2008's Marc Jacobs Gardenia Splash. The notes include green notes, gardenia and creamy musks.
Marc Jacobs Mod Noir will be available in 30 ($70) and 50 ($90) ml Eau de Parfum and in a rollerball ($28).

Love the bottle and the ad!
That ad IS striking and I’ll always try another gardenia scent
Agree. MJ really knows how to do “want one” packaging.
Ditto on the bottle (reminds me a bit of Coty’s Exclamation with the black/white motif). I wouldn’t mind trying this one as the price is good and it would be easily accessible at my local Sephora.
And that’s where it will launch in the US…
Do like the bottle as well. Though…gardenia,:p. Deal breaker for me.
According to the notes, it sounds a bit like his first fragrance 🙂
Oooh, I liked his first gardenia scent. Looking forward to trying this one.
Man, I love that bottle. Just wish I loved Marc Jacobs’ perfumes, too.
