This is a fragrance I am eager to get my nose to sniff 🙂 I hope one of u soon does a review of it 😉
Jessica, hopefully! She’s the rose queen.
I hope she does it today or sometimes in the week 😀 (One can hope) Haha
Oh, so looking forward to hearing what she thinks! I sniffed it briefly this week, and I feel like I must have been sorta missing the appeal (esp at $245 for 50ml!)–but, I did not really give it a fair shake, I sniffed it next to a much heftier Roja Dove, and a few hours later decided it was only fair to my dinner companions to wash off at least one, so I didn’t really get the full experience. (But still, it wasn’t hard to decide which should be on the chopping block…)
I haven’t tried any MFK scents yet. Pear is usually a no-go for me though.
Not a big fan of pear either.
I must be one of the few who adore Annick Goutal’s “Petite chérie” 😉
That is a lovely fragrance! And there are a couple other pears I like. But not many.
I like and own Petite Cherie 🙂 Leila Lou by Rosie Jane reminds me of PC. I own both.
Again will be curious to hear what Jessica thinks, but I didn’t get a lot of pear–more citrus esp at the top and then maybe some lychee but not a lot. I think there’s a bit of marketing at play here too–I found the original list of notes to be more accurate than what’s described in this video… https://nstperfume.com/2014/10/07/maison-francis-kurkdjian-a-la-rose-new-fragrances/
OTOH I kinda like pear so I’m probably not the best anti-pear sentinel 🙂
