DS & Durga Debaser ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 30 January 2015 8 Comments

DS & Durga Debaser

Indie brand DS & Durga will launch Debaser, a new fragrance (presumably) named for the song of the same name by the Pixies.

The wild shrill of Black Francis coming through the radio in the August heat. Ripe fig, iris, coconut milk, tonka and dry blond woods.

Additional notes include bergamot, green leaf, pear stem and moss.

DS & Durga Debaser is $145 for 50 ml, concentration unknown.

All of my interests just combined into one.

Even though I’m not a huge fig or coconut person, I can’t *not* try this.

I love fig & coconut, but admit the notes don’t sound very Debaser-like to me. But you never know until you smell 🙂

The notes don’t sound very much like my thing but…Debaser. Yeah, I’ll bite. I’m obviously a sucker for marketing.

I was on their website yesterday and quite entertained. Very cool brand.

    I’m game to try!

I wonder if Ari’s upcoming perfume store will carry this line – would like to catch up with this brand. Very fond of one of their early scents, My Indian Childhood.

The notes arent what id think of as going with Debaser either, but yep, as they’re notes I like and a band I love, cant not try it.
