Ys Uzac Oud Ankaa, Le Parfum de Jeanne & Dragon Tattoo ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 2 January 2015 2 Comments

Ysuzac Oud Ankaa and Dragon Tattoo

Swiss niche line Ys Uzac has launched Oud Ankaa and Le Parfum de Jeanne, and will introduce Dragon Tattoo this year.

Oud Ankaa (above left) ~ "The first Swiss made Oud perfume by a Swiss perfumer. Taking the brightest giant star in the Phoenix constellation Ankaa as a characteristic symbol, the formulation is made to make the best selected natural oud extract glow in the dark and to unveil the dazzling side of the profound “black diamond” - Oud." A limited edition, sold in Extrait de Parfum, size and price unknown.

Le Parfum de Jeanne (not shown) ~ "A special project, a cooperation between YS-UZAC and the Swiss national Television. An attempt of making a good mood perfume, a fight against the november blues. A truly personal perfume, made for Dr Jeanne Fürst, according to her taste and preferences, 100% made in Basel. A play, where the Italian Mandarine, the Venezuelian Tonka, the Indian Jasmine and the Malagasy Vanilla give their best to make us happy and bring us a little of the Sun that saw them grow." With mandarin, lemon, bergamot, jasmine, blackcurrant, tonka bean, woods and vanilla. In Eau de Parfum, size unknown, €70.

Dragon Tattoo (above right) ~ "Someone has once ask me: “what if I ask you to create a skin smell?” And here is my answer - composing the scandalous Dragon Tattoo. The olfactive representation of a girl, punk and tattooed, during a party, was particularly captivating. The smell of her social statement, of her tattoos, of her diet, of her vision of the world had to be put into this particular potion. Funky, Force, Feminine." With notes of skin, tattoo ink, suncream, face cream, caramel, fruits and musk. Size, price and concentration unknown.

I’m very fond of their unusual Pohadka, so I’ll try these when I get a chance.
