Escada Turquoise Summer ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 26 November 2014 8 Comments

Escada Turquoise Summer

Escada has launched Turquoise Summer, the brand's limited edition summer fragrance for 2015. The last entries in the series were Cherry In The Air and Born in Paradise.

Escada Turquoise Summer is an invitation to break free, like a butterfly, into a luscious and colourful garden of wild berries and flowers. Escape to your summer oasis and enjoy the freedom of summer.

Notes for the fruity floral scent include pineapple, strawberry, tutti frutti accord, flowers, blackcurrant and vanilla.

Escada Turquoise Summer is available now at Macy's, in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette

(via macys, additional information via ecscottgroup)

I like the packaging. Not so sure about the notes – I am thinking pineapple upside down cake and some weird punch with flowers floating on it, and I would not really eat that so why would I want to smell like that? But, you never know…

So far, they’ve all been too fruity and/or sweet for me. But you never do know! I’ll try it.

I have always loved the packaging and many of the names of the summer Escadas — they seem so fun and frivolous. Sunset Heat! Ocean Lounge! In those beautiful ombre bottles! But the scents inside are pure Mariah Carey Lollipop Bling, at quadruple the price.

Try as I might, I just can’t quit these. They are fruity, don’t last all that long and certainly are not to be taken seriously, but they are a lot of fun and like the candy of my perfume wardrobe. Sometimes I want something sweet, brief and not to be taken too seriously, like a perfume fling. :)

I don’t like black currant (BC), and it seems to be in everything lately. Ah well … more for the BC lovers to love :-)

*looks outside the window at the pile of snow* It’s not even December yet! By the time summer 2015 gets here, this will be fazed out LOL
