Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme Intenso ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 18 November 2014 6 Comments

Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme Intenso

Dolce & Gabbana has launched Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme Intenso, a new flanker to 1994's Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme (which was relaunched in 2012). Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme Intenso will be fronted by actor Colin Farrell.

Dolce & Gabbana Intenso is pure instinct, the power of an emotion that is freely expressed. It is the force of a determined man, with a heart that is rooted in tradition, yet revels in the modern world. This woody aromatic fragrance opens with luminous Aquatic notes and green accents of Basil and Lavender. A brand new discovery in the olfactory world: the Moepel accord, gives the signature and character to the heart and base, enveloping it with luxurious floral, balsamic, and honey accents. The tobacco masculinity is further defined with soft dry notes from Absolutes of Hay and Bran. Intensity and strength come from the profound combination Labdanum, Sandalwood and Cypress. A contrast of fresh, warm and rich, that completes the composition of the fragrance and emphasizes its woody charm.

Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme Intenso is available in 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

Mmmm … I smell the woody charm of bran that defines your tobacco masculinity.

Ha! I have a feeling some of that is translation issues…I will update if I find a better source.

This is mildly amusing if you’re Irish. Shortening and adding an “o” to a word is a common form of Dublin slang. I’m just hearing Farrell gravely intoning the name of this perfume in his Dublin accent in some ad.

I did not know that about the adding an “o” — now I will laugh when I see the commercial.

And nice to see EdPs for men becoming more commonplace!
