Salvador Dali La Belle et L’Ocelot ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 6 October 2014 10 Comments

Salvador Dali La Belle et L'Ocelot

Parfums Salvador Dali will launch La Belle et L'Ocelot, a new fragrance for women.

The new fragrance by Salvador Dali tells the story of La Belle et l’Ocelot a feminine scent created for all women whose personality irresistibly attracts anyone who comes near them.

A surrealist encounter between La Belle et l’Ocelot – a wild cat species so loved by Salvador Dali that he adopted one as a pet… and borrowed its spotted look, now at fashion’s leading edge, for many of his outfits.

With her fragrance, La Belle exudes a captivating aura and seductive power that fascinate the magnificent animal to the point of merging with it and adopting its gracious felinity.

La Belle et L'Ocelot was developed by perfumer Henri Bergia. The notes feature orange blossom, davana, osmanthus, elemi, night-blooming jasmine, tonka bean, patchouli, amber, benzoin and incense.

Salvador Dali La Belle et L'Ocelot will be available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

If shaping bottles like cats is a new trend (La Panthère, this), I’m offering up my full support.

The cap looks yuck, but do like the bottle. Would be more impressive if it wasn’t coming so soon after Panthere, though!

Recently stopped at the Salvador Dali gift shop in Montmartre…they have a lot of scents! The one I liked the best was the original, but I was coming down with a cold and didn’t want to make a bad decision. Still kicking myself for not getting their surrealist mug where the handle was the iconic melted-looking timepiece…

Oh, that sounds perfect! This is funny but probably not as good:

For me that was literally (not figuratively) LOL — it was just a completely unexpected image even with the heads-up name in the link. Thanks for the morning guffaw.
