Calvin Klein Reveal Men ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 5 September 2014 8 Comments

Calvin Klein Reveal Men

Calvin Klein will launch Reveal Men in February. The new fragrance is the masculine counterpart to the recently launched Calvin Klein Reveal, and will be fronted by Charlie Hunnam. Per Steve Mormoris of Coty...

Reveal Men Calvin Klein epitomizes the uncompromisingly masculine and bold attitude of the modern man. Charlie perfectly speaks to men who want to intrigue, challenge and seduce.

Reveal Men was developed by perfumers Marypierre Julien, Olivier Gillotin and Rodrigo Flores-Roux. The notes include crystalized ginger, lentisque, pear brandy, kiwano (melon), suede, agave nectar, clary sage, tonka bean, vetiver and amber.

Calvin Klein Reveal Men will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching grooming products.

Oh Calvin. That ad. Why is she naked while he’s fully clothed? *yawn*

I assume it’s meant to be the reverse of the Reveal ad, but in that ad he did at least have pants.

The notes sound absolutely dismal to me. Then again, have read such good things about the women’s, maybe this is better than it sounds too.

It actually sounds fruitier and sweeter than the women’s version… odd!

It does, but betcha it turns out it’s “fresher”.

Hopefully you’re right and this turns out to be great. Hell, I’d be ok with decent given CK’s track record.

Just catching up now, after a busy week / weekend. This one caught my eye, because this is just a terrible ad. Why would a man buy this based on this picture? Because he likes being bored out of his mind by nude women? Why would a woman buy this for a man? Who wants to buy a perfume that’s going to make a man bored by nude women? Also, what’s the point in being fully clothed when there’s a nude person there? I mean, huh? Boring, boring, boring…stupid, stupid, stupid. Also probably sexist. Ugh.
