Posted by Robin on 31 May 2014 5 Comments

Clive Christian No. 1 15th Anniversary Edition

Luxury niche line Clive Christian celebrates the 15th anniversary of Clive Christian No. 1 for women ("recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the world's most expensive perfume") with a new special edition.

No 1 15th Anniversary Limited Edition was created to commemorate of the [sic] 15th anniversary of the creation of No1, The Worlds Most Expensive Perfume.

No 1 15th Anniversary Limited Edition is a highly concentrated perfume spray and is composed with an even richer, deeper concentration than the original No1 ingredients, to create an even more complex and luxurious perfume.

Clive Christian No. 1 15th Anniversary is available in 47 ml, $1500, and can be pre-ordered at Neiman Marcus. 500 were made.

I am a regular at the Neiman Marcus in my area. I wonder how many crazy looks they would give me if I asked for a sample? That’s the ONLY way I will be able to experience this scent. For that price, that fragrance better be INCREDIBLE!
Robin, have you ever tried it? If so, what did you think?
    Has anyone else tried it?

They will almost certainly have a tester of the “regular” CC No. 1. Yes, have smelled it, it’s pretty. Doesn’t smell like the world’s most expensive perfume to me, or even all that interesting, but it’s pretty. I liked Clive Christian X better, but didn’t love that one either.

X is good..but not a thousand bucks good. That’s the only one I’ve sniffed.

This is fascinating. How fun would it be to watch hidden camera footage of the SA at this counter interacting with shoppers. ..”yes, that one is $1500.” Customer’s jaw drops. ..

Hey, it’s in Neiman Marcus. Probably nobody there lets their jaw drop over spendy items 🙂
