More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US. Today's post includes special editions from Roberto Cavalli, Acqua di Parma, Guerlain, Hermès and Giorgio Armani.
From Roberto Cavalli, the Nero Assoluto Exclusive Edition celebrating the opening of the brand's new boutique in Milan, "a luminous treasure thanks to the application of 2.500 gold and black Swarovski crystals which cover the surface of the bottle." (via Roberto Cavalli at Facebook)
From Acqua di Parma, a collector bottle of Gelsomino Nobile: "A unique limited edition item that celebrates the refinement of Acqua di Parma Gelsomino Nobile. The bottle is adorned with an elegant interpretation of the jasmine flower. Handcrafted by skilled artisans in Tuscany, the 24-karat gold decoration is created with silkscreen. Each petal is hand-engraved with delicate craftsmanship and attention to detail. A unique masterpiece of craftsmanship and elegance, this bottle is perfectly suited for a new and exclusive collector's item." $198 for 100 ml Eau de Parfum at Neiman Marcus.
From Guerlain, Insolence in the Crazy Touch edition: "This year, the Insolence bottle flaunts an extravagant look. A whirlwind of bold and exuberant pink spots." In 50 ml Eau de Toilette. (via guerlain)
Also from Guerlain, La Petite Robe Noire in the brand's iconic bee bottle. In 250 ml Eau de Toilette, €251 at Nocibe in France.
From Hermès, Eau d'Hermès (part of the upcoming Collection Les Classiques) in a bottle decorated by Philippe Dumas. Not sure when these will launch. (via lesechos.fr)
From Giorgio Armani, the yearly Acqua for Life limited editions of Acqua di Gio and Acqua di Gioia. This year, for each purchase they'll donate $5 to Unicef's TAP project. Acqua di Gio is $108 for 200 ml, Acqua di Gioia is $88 for 100 ml Eau de Parfum + 10 ml Eau de Parfum rollerball; both are at Dillard's.
I am finding that the pink bee bottle is hard to resist..so very delightfully girly-girl.
I like it better than the original bottle, I think.
It IS the sweetest out of the bunch I think (though the Insolence bottle is pretty neat too). If only I liked the juice that was coming in it better.
That polka-dot Insolence bottle is so cute it causes me actual pain — and I don’t even like pink bottles!
It is cute. Wish they’d done a new juice to match…I think they’ve probably given up on Insolence though, there hasn’t been a new one in awhile.
Hm.. that Insolence bottle is awfully cute. Kinda makes me want to try Insolence again and see if I like it any better. 😛
The only one I like is the AdP.
The Hermes is nice, but think it would look better with a celadon green cap instead.
