Indian newspapers came out smelling like babies on Wednesday morning. Leading dailies such as The Times of India, The Hindu, Malayala Manorama and Mathrubhumi turned up at doorsteps with their pages infused with the smell of Johnson & Johnson (J&J) baby powder.

Ha! “Smell of every baby” my left foot! My little one has smelled like the coconut oil infused with lavender from my garden since the day she was born. People are constantly trying to sniff at her (I use the oil on her head for the occasional flaky patches she still gets) LOL! I’m sure whatever the moms in India use to protect their babies’ tender skin smells as good or better than J&J baby powder.
Of course, I could be biased against ol’ J&J: when I was three, I may have dumped a good portion of baby powder ALL OVER MYSELF when I got into my baby sister’s hygiene shelf…hahaha!
Baby powder is not my favorite smell either…lavender & coconut oil is no doubt much nicer.
