Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2013, part 29

Posted by Robin on 20 December 2013 19 Comments

More limited edition collector fragrance bottles — really, this time the last lot for 2013 — with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US.

Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Flacon Baccarat et Dentelle d’Argent

From Guerlain, La Petite Robe Noire in the Flacon Baccarat et Dentelle d’Argent, with silver decorations by artist Sara Bran. 21 bottles were made; 100 ml Parfum.

Guerlain Vol de Nuit 80th anniversary

Also from Guerlain, Vol de Nuit in a special edition for its 80th anniversary. In 65 ml Parfum.

Guerlain Eau de Cologne Impériale 160th anniversary edition

Also from Guerlain, Eau de Cologne Impériale in a special edition for the fragrance's 160th anniversary. 32 numbered bottles.  (all above via guerlain)

By Kilian snake wrapped atomizer

From By Kilian, a gold snake wrapped atomizer, to be filled with the fragrance of your choice. Available at the brand's New York boutique. (via By Kilian at Facebook)

clinique-happy-in-bloom-2013

From Clinique, the latest iteration of Happy in Bloom. (You can see the 2012 version here). At Macy's, $48 for 50 30 ml.

It’s $150.00 US for the Killian atomizer, which is not as much as I thought it would be! 18kt gold plated and Swarovski crystals.

Every single one of these bottles is beautiful and enhances the concept, or brand of the fragrance. (Although, I prefer By Killian’s regular travel spray which is already darned fancy and and darned heavy).
Ah what imagination, taste and talent can achieve, even without crystals.

Ha, it’s rare we have a swarovski-free collector bottle post!

Oops…the Kilian has crystals. Oh well.

The Vol de Nuit looks just like the original parfum but with more ml and I am guess by Baccarat?
The Kilian atomiser is tempting. I wonder if you can change the travel size sprays once its finished? A single use would be unthinkable! O_O

Turns out vintage flacons which they will (unfortunately) fill with the current formulation of Vol de Nuit:

You only said what some us thought.
It looks like a hula skirt made from an old Dynel fall. For those of you old enough to remember that reference!

    Dang, I want that snake!
Maybe he will do a venom trio.

Dear Santa: I’d like one of each of the Guerlains please. Right. In my dreams.

(I don’t know the current formulation of Vol de Nuit though – hopefully, it’s not a mere shadow of its former awesomeness.)

I like the Vol, that’s about it. I don’t like snakes and have and love my silver, Kilian travel atomizer:). No snakes:D.
