Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2013, part 22

Posted by Robin on 16 October 2013 11 Comments

More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US.

Marni Metallic edition

From Marni, the Marni Metallic edition of their debut fragrance, scheduled to debut next month. 300 hand-painted bottles were made, sorry I don't know the size or price. (via luxgallery.it)

Viktor & Rolf special edition Flowerbomb, 2013

From Viktor & Rolf, yet another special edition of Flowerbomb (surely no fragrance outside of Shalimar has had so many?), this one featuring a "handwritten" story. At Selfridges in the UK, in 100 ml Eau de Parfum for £90.

Lancôme La Vie est Belle Glitter edition

From Lancôme, a La Vie est Belle Glitter edition. $85 for 50 ml at Nordstrom.

Clinique Happy Heart- charity edition 2013

From Clinique, the Happy Heart Charity Fragrance: "A hint of warmth. A deepening of emotions. And a heart-warming way to support children around the world. When you purchase, $10 goes to the Happy Hearts Fund. The Happy Heart Fund Campaign is a partnership between Clinique and the Happy Hearts Fund, an organization founded by Petra Nemcova with the vision of rebuilding the lives of children affected by natural disasters." 30 ml for $38 at Macy's.

Clinique Aromatics Elixir shimmer edition

Also from Clinique, a limited edition of Aromatics Elixir: "A limited edition floral bottle with a hint of shimmer adds to the intrigue of this favourite non-conformist fragrance. Performs the role of perfume, but goes far beyond. Touches the senses and spirit in subtle, pleasing ways. With notes of rose, jasmine, ylang ylang and vetiver." 100 ml for $67, also at Macy's.

Just when I thought Le Vie Est Belle couldn’t get any worse! LOL. I absolutely loathe that perfume! And now glitter! lol.

The V&R bottle just looks bad imo..like a yearbook meets a perfume bottle. Mmm, no thanks.

The Clinique AE..that one is ok, imo.

    The crayon Clinique…no thanks.

But I just read that some proceeds go to charity…so, that makes it all different now…now I like it all around:D.

The only one I really want out of this group is the Marni, which is darned handsome.

I am sort of astonished at how people apparently (?) will keep buying Flowerbomb in new bottles.

The Marni, from the pic reminded me of a pasta strainer…not as appealing to me, I guess:).

And a pasta strainer cannot be handsome?

It’s pretty! They do that same bottle w/o the shimmer, too.

    Angel. The defense rests.

I like the Marni bottle best, as well. The original bottle was cute, but this one is sort of fabulous. Are those dots mirrored? Awesome.

Gaultier Classique always seems to churn out a lot of LE bottles too. I quite the look of the LVeB bottles, shame the scent is so ho-hum.

They really do too, but I think Flowerbomb still has them beat.

But do think JPG buts more creativity into it…
