Yosh + Anthropologie California Aromascapes ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 3 September 2013 9 Comments

Yosh Montelena

California-based indie brand Yosh has launched California Aromascapes, a collection of four fragrances — Montelena, Angelino, Zuma and Sea Ranch — exclusive to the Anthropologie chain. California Aromascapes follows similar collaborations between Anthropologie and brands Le Labo, DS & Durga and Ineke.

Montelena ~ "a woodsy scent with luscious notes of wine"

Angelino ~ "a refreshing, fruity floral with mouthwatering notes of pear, pomegranate and water lily"

Zuma ~ "a tropical blend of florals and woods"

Sea Ranch ~ " a mineral sea musk with earthy aromatics"

Yosh Montelena, Angelino, Zuma and Sea Ranch can be found now at Anthropologie, $48 each for 30 ml Eau de Parfum.

Oh, this is really cool – Yosh is a line I keep meaning to get around to trying and never do. Which is kind of criminal considering there’s a boutique in South Austin that carries them, but what can I say? I’m a northie. Anyway I betcha the downtown Austin Anthro will get it. I love what they’re doing with these capsule collections.

I like the idea too — hope these are worth trying.

I can’t wait to try these! I like several Yosh perfumes and I hope these will be interesting.

Very excited to try some new Yosh Scents. Omniscent is like a more sophisticated Youth Dew, and the oil and perfume spray are equally intriguing. Ginger Ciao and White Flowers are great too. Over the past few years I find the indie perfumers are more interesting than the big houses and I’m glad to see Yosh will get more recognition through Anthropologie.

Yes — hope it has helped Ineke too.

A new Anthropologie store went in up the street within walking distance from my house. I’ll have to wander up there to sniff perfume, for the exercise.

Exercise is a GREAT excuse for sniffing perfume, Kyriaki!

I tried all 4 yesterday! I hate aquatics but the only one I liked, almost FBW, was the Sea Ranch…very unique and not too aquatic. The others were “meh”…but I love Yosh White Flowers and that is hard to beat!
