Justin Bieber The Key ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 24 June 2013 16 Comments

Justin Bieber The Key

Justin Bieber will launch The Key, his latest fragrance for women, in July. Per Mr. Bieber, the scent will "unlock a personal side of me they’ve never seen before."

The Key is a fruity floral musk with notes of pear, jasmine, vanilla and precious woods.

I will update with sizes and concentration when I can.

Update: Justin Bieber The Key is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum and in a 10 ml rollerball.

    How intelligent.
Mr. Beiber turning over the key to his sports cars, which have been the subject of so many near serious” sort of hit and runs”, maxed out speeding and other problems before they result in an actual arrest.
Too bad he has to soak the darn Key in a fruity floral musk first.
Oh wait, this is just another perfume launch. Mr.Beiber, I really don’t want see the personal side of you.

Could be! There’s another fragrance with a key, now I can’t remember which. Something by Antonio Banderas maybe…

Banderas it is. Her Golden Secret has a little key hanging from the bottle: the men’s version, The Golden Secret, features a bottle with a golden plate pierced by a keyhole, and you will forgive the vulgarity but that is pretty much the exact opposite of how such a metaphor is usually depicted (Madonna sings “I hold the lock and you hold the key” in “Open Your Heart” for a reason), so I guess the art direction was just really poorly thought out.

All I can think of how can a child make a fragrance for women? What does this little boy know about women? Just seems incongruous.

No thank you, Mr. Bieber. Please just keep it all locked up and secured away in some underground vault where I never have to be subjected to it. ;P

If I’m going to buy a bottle of perfume with a lock and/or key on the bottle, I’d much prefer Kelly Caleche!

At the laundromat, did I just catch a whiff of something fresh, breezy, and maybe even with a powdery finish? (going by memory here) worn by some put together woman? It couldn’t be the scent of fabric softener…it didn’t smell like chemicals…it was warm and alive…real flowers…maybe even expensive like it was from Nordstrom’s. Oh look at that. A sample test strip was embedded in the middle of a 2 month old magazine and I detected it pages beforehand! Well Justin Bieber detractors or not, I must try this scent! It might even be my new everyday parfum! I hope I hope it doesn’t have too much musk. Blecch. I am shocked the above description doesn’t mention citrus. That’s what I seem drawn too. P.S. I have blue eyes, sensitive skin, and not in high school.
