I live in the U.S. I love Bombay Bling (not continuously, but off and on as it develops); Dzonkgha was my first Duchaufour love, and rose? Oh, my, rose… The quest for my perfect rose continues, but a woody rose that is a bargain that makes me happy is Cabaret by Gres.

Of the Neela Vermeire line I’ve only tried Mohur so far, so I guess I’d say it’s my favorite. 😛 My favorite Duchaufour fragrance so far is CDG Kyoto. I think my favorite rose fragrance is Rossy de Palma.

And I live in the U.S. Thanks for the draw!

  32. Beata says:
    6 June 2013 at 1:52 pm

I love Mohur because it has three of my favourite notes: rose, iris and oud. BUT what really draws me to this perfume is the carroty undertone, like a whisper in the background which somehow takes me back straight to my childhood and my mum cooking carrots for Sunday dinner.
I live in the EU (UK). You have permission to use my email.
Thank you for the draw 🙂

  33. LaMaroc says:
    6 June 2013 at 1:57 pm

  36. mridula says:
    6 June 2013 at 2:16 pm

I live in the US. My favourite of the three NV perfumes has to be Mohur although sometimes the other two come close in their jostling to unseating her from the throne. Among rose perfumes yes, Mohur is my favourite. I don’t say that easily as By Kilian’s Rose Oud and Frederic Malle’s Portrait of a Lady are up there all pushing and shoving one another for my attention. This is a wonderful giveaway . I am excited there might be a chance for me to sniff the extrait strength. Thank you.

  37. Dink says:
    6 June 2013 at 2:16 pm

I live in the U.S. and haven’t had the pleasure of smelling any of Neela’s fragrances. As I get older I more appreciate rose in a fragrance. I like Paris, SSS’s Rose Musc, YR’s Rose Absolue, and White Linen. Thanks for the opportunity.

  38. mitsouko says:
    6 June 2013 at 2:18 pm

I live in the US. Thanks for this fantastic draw.
I gotta talk about Une Rose by Frederic Malle. It’s not something new to me having lived with a large sample for a while. I love Rose otto – Bulgarian and Turkish . Une Rose is just a wonderful Turkish Rose Oil aroma – pure fruity sweet ,drop dead wonderful . Sometimes I get aslight truffle / fungal aroma – but it’s very pleasant – like fresh white button mushrooms smell .I have fallen totally and irrevocable in love with Une Rose . I wish Barney’s would stock the 100 ml bottles .

I love Neela Vermeire’s scents having tested them all . All are excellent quality too.

PS .I am hankering after Une Rose body butter too.

I am sorry to say I have not had the opportunity to try any of the Neela Vermiere scents (or Duchaufour, for that matter, eek), so I would be elated to win this, it sounds like my cup of tea!

I do have a favorite in SSS Vintage Rose (which has now been re formulated and re-released as Rose Volupte, which I have yet to test); I adore its spicy plum-rose deliciousness, oh so good!

My apologies, I keep forgetting to say: “I’m in the US”

  43. calrayo says:

I live in the US. I don’t yet have a favorite rose perfume, but I do love Pacifica’s Turkish Rose bath gel. I bought the body butter for my aunt who is recovering from surgery; nothing like a rich body butter in one’s favorite scent to help banish the hospital feel.

I live in the US! I am not yet familiar with the Neela Vermeire line (although Jessica’s review of Mohur put it on my list of things to try), so my favorite Bertrand Duchaufour fragrance is Traversée du Bosphore. Dzongkha is a close second. They both transport my mind far from my suburban reality. Thanks for the giveaway!

  52. Sydscents says:

Monsieur Douchaufour has created so many enchanting fragrances, I just can’t pick one favorite. His style is distinctive and experimental. He pushes the boundaries of perfumery without making sure that all of his creations are perfectly wearable. That’s something many niche perfumes lack: They may be creative and innovative, but many of them are unwearable. Douchaufours perfumes keep with Monsieur Guy Roberts famous line: ‘Un parfum doit avant tout sentir bon.’ For example, Traversée du Bosphore: This fragrance is just crazy, innovative, new, mouth watering and fun. The more I think about it… I guess the Traversée du Bosphore could be my favorite Bertrand Douchaufour creation. Thank you very much for giving us the opportunity to win this fragrance 🙂

  56. Gennyleigh says:
    6 June 2013 at 3:52 pm

L’Artisan Timbuktu. As for rose fragrances, I recently got a sample of Lostmarc’h Iroaz and went a little wild with it. Not a sweet, hot garden rose, but something else altogether–dry desert rose maybe. A Sancerre to your Riesling?
