Mariah Carey Dreams ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 7 March 2013 17 Comments

Mariah Carey Dreams

Mariah Carey has launched Mariah Carey Dreams, a new fragrance for women. The bottle is reportedly shaped like a champagne flute as a "tribute to Carey's festive nature".

Showcase your signature scent with this Mariah Carey Dreams fragrance. You'll be impressed by the essence of this women's eau de toilette spray, complete with vibrant notes of salted caramel apple and freesia.

Additional notes include bergamot, toasted almonds, star anise, honeysuckle, muguet, tonka bean, vanilla, patchouli and warm musk.

Mariah Carey Dreams can be found now at Kohl's, in 50 ml Eau de Parfum, $49. A smaller size is expected to launch shortly.

It’s been a long wait! Looks like her brand is maybe winding down.

At first I thought the name of the fragrance was
Mariah Crazy Dreams! THAT I would have bought.

LOL — that would be excellent, we can hope for it as a flanker.

What? No more fragrance names “lollipop cotton candy fluffy bunnies bling bling”?

I like salted caramel apples…to eat, though, not to wear…

Looking forward to this one! I love her M, but unfortunately my bottle spoiled long ago. I’m always worried about re-purchasing it from a discounter, Marshalls and the like, because I’m thinking they’re already old bottles. I guess I’ll have to give into a bottle and hope for the best. My M spoiled rather quickly. : (

The bottle doesn’t really look like a champagne flute to me but the notes sound nice and I will probably buy it. I’ve been wearing M a lot lately which is a gorgeous perfume.

Huh. So apparently I’m the only one who finds the ad photo awkward? She looks uncomfortable, maybe like her wrists are tied up?, and I keep finding myself staring at her chest.

Always loved her M, altho she could have given it a better name, but have been disappointed with the rest of her collection. Alas, won’t be trying this either, since freesia and I are sworn enemies. Bottle’s pretty, tho.

Has anyone actually tried this? I don’t normally like Mariah’s fragrances, and like very few celeb fragrances, but I LOVE this one! It reminds me a little bit of Vera Wang Princess. 🙂 Definitely on my Christmas wish list!!
