Roberto Cavalli Acqua ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 28 December 2012 5 Comments

Roberto Cavalli Acqua fragrance

Roberto Cavalli will launch Roberto Cavalli Acqua, a new follow-up to 2012's Roberto Cavalli for Her. Acqua was inspired by nights in the southern Mediterranean.

Acqua was developed by perfumer Louise Turner, who also developed the original Roberto Cavalli for Her fragrance. The notes include jasmine, lily of the valley and musk.

Roberto Cavalli Acqua will be available in 50 ml Eau de Toilette.

Wasn’t wild about the oriignal, but this sounds worth a try…

I wasn’t wild about the original either. Turning it blue doesn’t particularly increase my ardor, but I’ll give it a shot.

That pretty bottle is the only thing that kept me from yawning. 😀

I did not like the original RC bottle when I saw it in person, so still yawning 😉

I got this as a gift, it smells nice…..and exactly how you’d expect an Acqua to smell. I completely agree with those of you who said, “yawn.”
It lacks imagination and I think it was a ‘safe’ scent created to drive revenue v. a fragrance worthy of a high fashion designer. As with all acquas or blue fragrances, this doesn’t last ……at all!! Maybe it is just me, but after just an hour I have to really, strain with wrist against nose, to even get the slightest hints of this.
