Rihanna Nude ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 19 November 2012 11 Comments

Nude by Rihanna, perfume packaging

Pop star Rihanna has launched Rihanna Nude, a new fruity floriental fragrance for women:

Nude by Rihanna is sensual and provocative. It is an uninhibited scent that captures a stripped down essence. The fragrance allows her fans, to experience something very personal, a true embodiment of the singer. Nude by Rihanna joins Reb'l Fleur and Rebelle, two dark and rebellious scents created by Rihanna in years past, in her uninhibited fragrance lineup.

[...] "My third fragrance, Nude, is subtle but it is also substantial – it is a fragrance you will want to wear with nothing else," says the songstress.

Rihanna Nude was developed by perfumer Harry Frémont; the notes include guava, mandarin, pear, orange blossom, gardenia, jasmine, sandalwood, musk and vanilla.

Rihanna Nude is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

I just can’t with Rihanna at this point. Not that I thought the first two were any good in the first place.

I thought 1 of them was good on paper, but never was able to get samples.

They for sure weren’t the worst celeb fragrances out there, but they weren’t the best, either. I think I liked the first (vaguely tropical) better than the second, which was more berried. But I might be reversing them.

I’m mostly frustrated with the decisions Rihanna has made in personal life of late and I think that’s coloring things for me right now.

Oh. I know zilch about her private life, or her professional life for that matter.

Glad to know my pathetic ignorance of popular culture is pleasing to somebody, LOL…

…and if you’re dying for it, of course I hope you’ll get some!

I second, third and fourth this comment!! Lol I actually kind of liked her first one, not that I would have bought because I didn’t like it that much, but that bottle would have never let me. Who thought of that design?

They really chose a name that made it awkward to Google, didn’t they? I guess that’s true for all Nude perfumes, but I doubt so many people are out there with NSFW Bill Blass Nude pages …
