Vera Wang Lovestruck Floral Rush ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 1 May 2012 8 Comments

Vera Wang Lovestruck Floral Rush

Vera Wang will launch Lovestruck Floral Rush, a new flanker to 2011's Lovestruck, in August. Like Lovestruck, Lovestruck Floral Rush will be fronted by actress Leighton Meester.

The prequel to the Lovestruck story, Floral Rush is fueled by enchantment and the possibility of love at first sight. The rush of adrenaline when curiosity strikes. With a glance from a stranger, there is unlimited potential of where it will all lead. fragrance sparkling. captivating. unforgettable.

The fragrance is a sparkling floral bouquet that blooms with instant attraction. You will fall head over heels with notes of mouthwatering champagne accord and apricot blossom. The heart beats a little faster with a rich layer of pink passion flower, and a lasting impression is left with cashmere woods and sheer musk, sweeping you off your feet.

Lovestruck Floral Rush was developed by perfumer Pascal Gaurin; additional notes include pink pepper, marigold, freesia  and white amber.

Vera Wang Lovestruck Floral Rush will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

I did not realize the Vera Wang Lovestuck was a “hit”, that it is getting a flanker already. It was such a forgettable scent, in a knockoff bottle. Guess that does not matter to teenagers *shugs*. Color wise, Lovestuck Floral Rush’s bottle is an improvement.

I don’t know if it did well or not, but probably this one was planned before that one even launched.

Not just a flanker, but a “prequel”. As if keeping track of flankers wasn’t hard enough, now you’re going to mess with the space/time continuum. *facepalm*

I thought when I read the copy, that it was a late and not great entry for the recent prix faux competition.
