Jil Sander Sun Sorbet ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 9 February 2012 9 Comments

Jil Sander Sun Sorbet

Jil Sander will launch Sun Sorbet, a new limited edition fragrance for women, in March. Sun Sorbet is a flanker to 1989′s Jil Sander Sun and follows 2011's Sun Eau de Soleil.

Sun Sorbet is a fresh fruity floral developed by perfumer Sylvie Fischer; the notes feature red currant, jasmine, vanilla and sandalwood.

Jil Sander Sun Sorbet will be available in 100 ml  Eau de Toilette.

Sounds like a more candified offering for those who find the original Sun too brisk/unisex. But the sandalwood has me curious, I must admit.

I have never tried Sun or any of it’s flankers, but sounds like you have!

The rarer real sandlewood gets, the more a sandlewood note is listed.

Does red currant have a tart scent? I think Sun could use something like that so it’s actually the red currant that makes this sound appealing to me.
