Posted by Robin on 20 January 2012 16 Comments

Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit de L'Homme Frozen Cologne

Yves Saint Laurent will launch La Nuit de L'Homme Frozen Cologne in March. The new fragrance for men promises 'a new feeling' and is a flanker to 2009's La Nuit de L'Homme, which is a flanker to 2006's La Homme.

The notes include lemon, mandarin, bergamot, black pepper, geranium, vetiver, cedar, tonka bean and cashmere wood.

Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit de L'Homme Cologne Frozen will be available in 60 and 100 ml.

I like La Nuit de L’Homme moderately, it’s not exactly the style I like. Few weeks ago I bought L’Homme Libre in 10ml pen-spray I find it nicely wearable.
This frozen L’Homme sounds promising to me, so it goes on my to-smell list.

Hi Lucasai, I don’t often have time to comment here, unfortunately, but I do lurk quite a bit and I noticed you were from Poland. I also remember you commenting on how some scents you wanted are not available in Poland. Sorry to be a bit random and off-topic, but I’m Polish-American and I’m in the US now visiting parents. Leave me a comment if there’s anything you want that you can’t get in Poland, and I can try to get my hands on it while I’m here and I can send it to you when I’m back in Warsaw, if you like :)

Dominika, that’s so very sweet of you. It would be nice to smell some stuff that is let’s say “unfindable” in Poland. Should I contact you in any specific way? I’ll go back to my Monday Mail article to check upon suggestions from then, I may also do a little research on my own. Even a single sample would be great!!

Great :) I’m dominika79 at hotmail.com – you can contact me there. I’ll be in the US until Monday, and I hope to visit the mall this weekend.

      It’s a woody/musky synthetic.

There’ll be a time when the flankers will be launched with two glasses to handle the enormous name.

It is so true! And this name is odd…I bet they wanted to do La Nuit de L’Homme Sport and this was the closest they could do without sounding totally ridiculous.

“Night of the Frozen Man” would make a great title for a companion horror film. (Y’know, kind of like the Tauer Tableau de Parfums projects?)

I remember that DK Delicious Night has some sort of “frozen” accord – which is quite effective actually. There’s a blast of a frosty sensation when it’s first spritzed – short lived unfortunately, but nice. I wonder if this will have something similar?

The ad is very interesting. The notes are not.

These L’Homme caps can be used as weapons! They’re dangerous on wrong hands!
