Nina Ricci Nina Fantasy

Nina Ricci has launched Nina Fantasy. The new fragrance for women is a flanker to the 2006 version of Nina, and is meant to be a playful scent that captures the first days of spring.

Nina Fantasy is a fruity floral; notes include bergamot, tangerine, pear, cherry blossom, rose, heliotrope and brown sugar.

Nina Ricci Nina Fantasy is available in 50 ml Eau de Toilette.

I’m no merchandiser or ad exec, but it seems ‘off’ to me that for such a cheery-sounding fruity concoction in a cute little bottle, they’ve chosen a melancholy-looking model who could use a shampoo.

Totally agree — it’s like the ad campaign & the fragrance were planned by two totally different teams who never bothered to communicate with each other.

Yeah, that model looks wacked and menacing, sort of mentally unbalanced. Certainly not playful.

Probably she’s trying to look sexy. Still not a good fit w/ the rest.

Perhaps they are going for “Hello Kitty by day, sex-starved bipolar model by night” ?? LOL

Anyway if it smells fresh enough I’ll give this to my mom… I just leave out the pic of Teh Crayzay modal!

Ya, it’s like two photos botched together…looks way out of place. Doesn’t fit at all..she belongs in like a CK Jeans ad maybe.

I thought your joke about bipolar people was inappropriate. Now people with the horrowfying disease have a look?

Hello Dolcesara, I apologize, it was not my intention to make fun of bipolar people.

I certainly try to moderate my comments but I guess after so many years of posting in this forum I was bound to hurt someone’s sensibility.
My wording was wrong, as the “bipolar” comment was meant to convey that the ad looked too dissimilar in graphics and picture.
Perhaps english not being my first language has something to do with this too.

Dolcesarah, you may not have liked his comment, but yours was the one that was outside of our commenting policies:

Kaos.geo apologized, but he did not need to: we don’t enforce political correctness here, and we expect our readers to be polite to each other even when they don’t like what the other person has said.

I’m a sucker for Nina Ricci flanker bottles. they’re all so cute!
it’s a good job I don’t actually buy any of them or I’d have more Nina Ricci than I could ever want, and I’d be broke.
