Roberto Cavalli by Roberto Cavalli ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 19 December 2011 10 Comments

Roberto Cavalli by Roberto Cavalli

Roberto Cavalli will launch a new eponymous fragrance for women in spring 2012. It will be the designer's first perfume under new licensing arrangements with Coty. The scent will be fronted by Italian actress and model Elisa Sednaoui.

Roberto Cavalli for Her is an 'exuberant' and 'sensual' floral amber. It was developed by perfumer Louise Turner; notes include pink pepper, orange blossom and tonka bean.

I will update with sizes and concentration when I can find them.

Update: Roberto Cavalli will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum and in matching body products.

Update: See a review of Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum.

Amazing ! Can’t wait to smell it. I have always loved Louise Turner’s creations. The bottle seems great and Elisa is… just…GEORGOUS !

Serpentine & Gold were quite nice creations and enjoyable for me to wear. The rest left me cold.

I am very interested and a little excited by this! Anyone else here familiar with his Oro fragrance? It’s big, Big, BIG – and great. Well, IMHO that is – if you’re into light or minimalist perfumes, then you would probably run screaming from it! LOL

I am 88% sure I smelled it before, but my mind is drawing a complete blank on R. Cavalli.

Gah! That’s the “Gold” I was referring to in my post above. Sorry, I totally (m)anglisized it. lol Yes, I loved that one, but certainly not for the shy.

That ad looks like If the Ellie Saab perfume ad and one of the Kardashians “scents” mated.

Just can’t wait for it to be launched. I had the great opportunity to smell it a few months ago and I fell in love with its smell !
And the commercial is perfect, just like the soundtrack.
This perfume is sweet/floral and is long-lasting. I just love it!
