This fall, Guerlain is offering 'Fragrance Experience' events in the US, hosted by their National Fragrance and Beauty Director, Marie Line Patry. The events will take place in Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue stores:
Beginning this fall, Guerlain will offer customers a brand new way to experience this unique heritage and fragrance expertise. National Fragrance and Beauty Director, Marie Line Patry, will host exclusive Fragrance Experience events in stores, debuting a luxurious, bespoke Guerlain trunk that houses a complete fragrance experience within its walls.
The fragrance trunk is a multi-sensorial tool that will help bring to life each of the main pillars within Guerlain’s Exclusive Fragrance Collection. Marie Line can now take every customer on a journey to La Maison Guerlain at 68 Champs Elysées, through the brand’s history and deep into the legacy of craftsmanship and know-how that sets Guerlain apart from all other fragrance houses. The experience includes videos, music and elements that illustrate the perfumer’s inspiration for each of the creations. As each drawer is opened the customer is able to uncover an exceptional 360° view of the fragrance collection inside. At over five feet tall, it is a theatrical experience designed to heighten the senses and enhance the emotions we feel when we encounter a new fragrance.

Given the number of cities in which the only date is a weekday, this is apparently designed for the Guerlain enthusiast who does not need to do something as prosaic as work.
Or who loves Guerlain enough to take off a few hours? Anyway, don’t know what time these take place or how long they are.
Not everyone works 9 to 5, Monday to Friday anymore. It is very difficult to get people to come to any event because they always have something more important to do. If events were only Saturday, the person hosting would only work one day in every city. That’s not very practical for all concerned. Perhaps one could plan to take the day off for an important event like this one.
Oh Santa!!!
🙂
I’d love to go to this! The trip to Troy and back takes just a few hours… Hmmm… Off to go check the schedule.
They didn’t tell me the times, but I’m sure you can find out!
I’m going to the Troy one, too. Maybe I’ll see you there. Didn’t find any info on the website yet.
Groan! The closest location to me is almost 500 miles away! If they were smart, they’d record one of the sessions and put the video online. No smells of course, but at least we could enjoy the “theatrical experience.”
There were (muffled) squeals of delight coming from my cubicle. “Guerlain! Finally! The Mona Lisa of fragrance houses is going to go on exhibition!”
I anxiously scanned the cities for one close to my home.
Nothing.
Cue the (muffled) moans of distress coming from my cubicle!
Your username is hilarious. If it’s any consolation, I think this probably emphasizes the new exclusive fragrances and not the house classics.
Ugh. I have class that day and a midterm for said class on Friday. I definitely can’t go.
I just made my reservation. Apparently it is a one-on-one session with Marie Line (at least that is what I understood when I talked to them). I can’t wait!!!!
I’m signed up, too. So excited – I will spend Black Friday with Guerlain rather than standing in line for what other stores have to offer.
