Trussardi has launched a new fragrance duo in honor of their 100th anniversary:
Trussardi is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2011. To underscore its century-long existence and hard work, it has decided to launch its new Trussardi Donna and Trussardi Uomo perfumes. The two fragrances are completely new, yet they bring to mind the first Trussardi perfumes introduced in the 1980s, to which they are a heartfelt tribute.
The two new Trussardi fragrances represent Italian excellence and the excellence of this renowned brand.
Trussardi Donna ~ a floriental by perfumer Nathalie Lorson. "The new Trussardi Donna fragrance expresses modern femininity full of charisma, aura, radiant beauty, sensuality, allure and luxury. Trussardi Donna embodies the purity and passion of white." The notes include yuzu, citron, water fruits, orange blossom, jasmine tea, water lily, white patchouli, cedar, sandalwood and vanilla. In 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
Trussardi Uomo ~ a woody fougère by perfumer Aurelien Guichard. "The fragrance is as exceptional as Trussardi. A virile, modern fragrance to be worn with style, Trussardi Uomo is the quintessence of suave masculinity." With notes of lemon, galbanum, nutmeg, clary sage, geranium, violet, patchouli, moss and leather. In 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

so here’s a question… is this *replacing* their current Trussardi Uomo with a new formula? I really dig Trussardi Uomo (current form) but it does have a “big 80s” feel to it.
if they are replacing it I need to stock up. 😉
Excellent question, and so sorry I don’t know the answer. But if it were me, I’d get an extra bottle…even if they don’t discontinue it now, they might do so later if this one sells better.
I was thinking the same thing! Guess i will be paying a visit to my local discounter this afternoon- just to be safe!
