Gorilla Perfume at Lush Love ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 5 August 2011 4 Comments

Gorilla Perfume at Lush Love

Gorilla Perfume at Lush will be re-introducing Love, a fragrance from the defunct B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful brand (and it's also the scent of Lush's Fizzbanger bath bomb). Love will be a limited edition, and will be available in the UK for 1 month starting August 15th.

Inspired by young, flirty love and the heartache that can sour it, this tempting fragrance smells of fresh bitten apples and zesty lemongrass evoking the exhilarating feeling of a bright new romance. As the scent warms to the skin and develops throughout the day the spicey [sic] notes of cinnamon, ylang ylang and jasmine bring a long lasting sensuality to the perfume, evoking feelings of a deeper romance whilst still hinting at flirty excitement with refreshing lemon notes.

Additional notes include lemon, bergamot and rose.

Gorilla Perfume at Lush Love will be available in 10 and 30 ml spray or 12 g solid perfume. (via press release)

No idea what the US plans are, unfortunately.

Tama, I went to a Gorilla event just to smell The Smell of Weather Turning, and it is a glorious smell – on everyone but me. I was heartbroken, because it is really different – a wet, ozonic hay and mint type of smell – really the smell of a thunderstorm outdoors a thousand years ago.

Unfortunately on me it smelled like burnt rubber. Even the SA couldn’t rescue it – “That’s not good,” she said upon smelling it on me. I bought some as a pillow spray perhaps but haven’t used it yet.

Gorilla perfumes are far more unpredictable than any other line, I think.
