Maoli Perfumes Alohatherapy perfume balms

Maoli Perfumes has launched a quartet of "Alohatherapy" perfume balms, including Leilani’s Lei Stand, Under the Orange Tree, Royal Pikake and Chocolate Kingdom.

Leilani’s Lei Stand ~ "A trip to the Honolulu Airport always involved a pit stop at Auntie Leilan's lei stand to surprise our island visitors with fragrant leis. Our favorite is a double tuberose strand with carnations. Mom always had to buy one for herself, just to wear it as perfume!" With notes of tuberose, carnation and ylang ylang.

Under the Orange Tree ~ "Up in Naalehu, a very special camaraderie between sunshine, blossom and bee yields the sweetest of fruits, known to the world as Ka'u Gold oranges. Savoring one under the tree with the sun shining on your face is one of life's simple pleasures." With neroli, sweet orange, petitgrain and vanilla.

Royal Pikake ~ "Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess who loved to make and wear necklaces made with the buds of her favorite flower. A tiny bud could perfume a whole room, just like her smile could brighten up her kingdom. Her name was Princess Ka'iulani and her favorite flower was pikake."

Chocolate Kingdom (not shown) ~ "A sweet Hawaiian breeze melded with the aroma of roasting cacao is a dream come true for any chocoholic in love with the Islands. This magical olfactory event takes place at the slopes of Hualalai, where Hawaiian cacao is transformed into the world's most scrumptious chocolate. This is warmth and deliciousness in a jar." With cacao, vanilla, spice and coconut.

Maoli Perfumes Leilani’s Lei Stand, Under the Orange Tree, Royal Pikake and Chocolate Kingdom are available in 28 g solid perfume, $28 each, at the Maoli website. (via press release)

Has anyone ever tried any of these? Leilani’s Lei Stand sounds pretty good.

I haven’t. Their first scent, Colonia Dulce, was very pleasant though.

I’m so glad they are coming out with new things! I finally bought a bottle of Colonia Dulce and hoard it like mad.

It was nicely done and reasonably priced.

I got a bottle of the Colonia Dulce, too, finally. I don’t see it on their website any more? These new things look like fun, especially the Lei Stand one. Back in the day, when everyone greeted returning family members at the gate with leis (I’m from Hawai’i, too, mayk!), the Honolulu airport smelled amazing!
