Posted by Robin on 11 July 2011 15 Comments

Parfum d'Empire Azemour Les Orangers

French niche line Parfum d'Empire will launch Azemour Les Orangers, a new fragrance for women, in September. Azemour Les Orangers is a tribute to the city of Azemmour in Morocco.

Azemour Les Orangers is a fresh chypre; notes include orange, grapefruit, mandarin, citron, coriander, cumin, black pepper, pink pepper, cassis, galbanum, neroli, geranium, orange blossom, rose, hay, moss, henna and iodine.

Parfum d'Empire Azemour Les Orangers will be available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum. (via prime-beaute)

Sounds good. Would have been nice to have that in summer though. I recently discovered Eau Suave – not really “me” (too much rose) but what a beautiful scent!

I have several samples of their fragrances and they are all, like you say, very beautiful, but not me either…
This one sounds more like me – and yes, I would also love to try it now (quite hot and damp recently).

BTW, you can order a sample set with all 12 of their fragrances for 16 Euro (outside France) via their website!

Andromea, that’s good to know, thanks. I almost fell for Wazamba last winter but it turned out to be too sweet for me.

Exactly. Salty air and/or salty water.

Iodine is also used in the base “mousse de saxe” most prominently used in Caron’s Nuit de Noël.

What does henna generally smell like? I read the notes and realized that I have no idea.
