Jil Sander Eve ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 23 June 2011 16 Comments

Jil Sander Eve

Jil Sander will launch Eve, a new fruity chypre floriental fragrance for women, in September:

She lingers in every woman.

Hers is a natural sensuality, a pure radiance that comes from within. Hers is an irresistible power to seduce, artlessly, instinctively, almost without trying.

Hers is a quiet confidence, a luminous charisma. Both in her force and in her fragility, she is the essence of femininity.

Naturally, she is Eve. Eve by Jill Sander.

Eve was developed by perfumer Olivier Polge; notes include grapefruit blossom, redcurrant, rose, jasmine, violet, cashmere wood and patchouli.

Jil Sander Eve will be available in 30, 50 and 75 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching body products.

Very interesting. I like the bottle. Im a worried about the notes. But it could turn out to be a fantastic scent.

The bottle & color are reminding me of Love, Chloe…wonder if it will be in the same ballpark.

Sounds good. I wonder if we’ll see it over here. I do wish they’d bring back Jill Sander No. 3. Talk about gorgeous!

Makes sense, in a way…almost everything they call a chypre nowadays is really a floriental.

Jil Sander had a good flowery chypre scent: Jil Sander Bath & Beauty. It was my all fav scent, but they took it from the market :-C

Jil Sander has always done a good job with their scents. I like most of them, and I own a few bottles. I loved their cosmetic line in the 80ies, but unfortunately this is not available anymore.

Ok, Firstly… Love… Chloe is AWESOME!!!!!!!! I am a Man and I WEAR IT! It’s Really Quite Magnificent in my book…

Secondly… I wish they’d cull together ALL The Jil Sander Scents (all about 21 of em) and stop naming new fragrances after old fragrances and confusing people! I want to smell the WHOLE Jil Sander Range!

Thirdly… This Sounds MAGNIFIQUE! Fleur De Pamplemousse??? LOVE THAT NOTE! Tres Belle!

Jil Sander’s “clean and cut” approach for the bottle seems promising, hoping that the fragrance also up to the mark and not the thing that somebody sniffs your aroma and says “what is that…..smell !!!!”

Grapefruit blossom? I didn’t know grapefruits had blossoms. Still waiting for the ultimate grapefruit scent (Pamplelune turns sweaty on me, CSP O’Pomelo disappears within seconds, and GAP So Pink is discontinued).

My favorite Jil Sander was No.4, a very ladylike oriental from my youth (the 1980s).
